The San Francisco 49ers came into the year as heavy favorites to repeat as champions of the NFC West, but injuries and narrow divisional losses have them at a crossroads heading into Thursday night's game in Seattle.

Despite their disappointing 2-3 start, the 49ers remain among the Super Bowl odds favorites. But we're targeting the value on the other side as part of our 49ers vs. Seahawks prediction.

The defensive issues the Seahawks (3-2) have endured should be the perfect recipe for getting the 49ers (2-3) back on track.

  • The 49ers have scored 23 or more points in three straight games and have suffered two divisional losses by a combined four points in that stretch
  • The 12th Man isn’t an overly concerning aspect for this spread bet, as the Seahawks are 1-2 ATS at home

Jordan Mason Over 82.5 rushing yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Christian McCaffrey continues to recover, so the bulk of the carries will go to Jordan Mason, who has hit the Over on this prop in four of five contests.

  • Seattle has allowed 128.0 rushing yards per game (20th in the NFL) and was torched for 175 yards in their last contest
  • Giants backup Tyrone Tracy ran for 129 yards on 18 carries against the Seahawks in Week 5, and Seattle had a short week to prepare for the Niners
  • Mason is averaging 5.1 YPC this season

FanDuel lists this rushing line at 82.5 yards with standard -110 odds. Caesars and BetMGM increased their line on Mason’s rushing total to 83.5 yards.

Seattle (4-1 on Overs) and San Francisco (3-2 on Overs) have trended Over on totals so far this season, but Thursday night’s number is an overcorrection. Only three of their 10 games have cleared 49.5 points.
