Samuel is projected to score 0.37 receiving touchdowns on Thursday through NumberFire. Based on that projection alone, I wouldn't touch a Samuel TD bet, especially at these odds.

However, when we combine that with his 0.23 rushing TD projection, Samuel serves as one of the most likely wide receivers to score this week along with CeeDee Lamb and Ja'Marr Chase. Those two are trading at far shorter odds, with Lamb actually at minus money across our best sports betting sites despite owning a nearly identical touchdown projection (0.61).

Samuel managed just four touches in Week 5. The 49ers will likely try to get him going early to set the tone on Thursday night.

However, considering Samuel has recorded more carries than receptions in half his games this season, it's difficult to pinpoint exactly how those yards will come. Therefore, I'll opt to take the Over on his receiving + rushing yards prop.

Samuel is projected to finish with just a sliver more than the 72 yards he requires, which is why I've made this only a three-star pick.

However, I'm still confident enough in it considering the Seahawks allowed a Malik Nabers-less New York Giants receiving corps to rack up 158 yards last week.

Squeaky wheel gets the grease? Sure. But we don't know exactly how that wheel will be greased.

Samuel could go well Over the 71 receiving + rushing yards he requires through four catches and six or seven carries. After all, he averages 14.5 yards per reception and six yards per rushing attempt for his career.

Additionally, though he's not a true running back, the Seahawks have been getting blasted in the run game recently. One week after the Detroit Lions' tandem of David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs ran for 118 yards on 26 carries, Giants backup running back Tyrone Tracy went off for 129 rushing yards on just 18 carries (good for 7.2 per attempt).

Therefore, we could see the 49ers lean on the running game early and often. And with Jordan Mason averaging more than 20 carries per game to start the year, San Francisco might look to Samuel to lighten his load.
