    Poker is back at SBR! $300 Kickoff Freeroll on Sept 29th at 7pm ET!

    I am happy to announce that poker is back at SBR! We are going to kick it off with a $300 freeroll this month and
    follow it up with $100 weekly freerolls in Oct and Nov. Prizes are on us - but BYOB!


    Details:

    $300 SBR Freeroll

    Date and Time:     Sunday, Sept 29th at 7pm ET

    Prizepool: (paid in Amazon or paypal payments - please allow sufficient time to receive)

    1st - $100
    2nd - $75
    3rd - $60
    4th - $40
    5th - $25

    Who can play: All SBR members who have posted at least once in the past month. You will need to post your PokerStars username in this thread before you request to join the club.

    Buy-In - 20,000 play chips (you get 35k when you join, otherwise you can top up with 15,000 every 4 hours. I recommend you start building some up to ensure you have enough for every tournament).

    Might want to take the prize payouts out of the tournament lobby. I've been in clubs that got closed down for mentioning cash prize amounts. The idea of them allowing the home games is not to avoid paying rake. If we all know what the payouts are and it's posted to SBR that should be good enough.

    I don't think we can edit that, so Debi might need to cancel that tourney setup and make a new one to get rid of it.

    Good and valid point.

    You should be able to do that Optional - if you don't have time it could be mid-week before I can get in there. We would need to notify anyone who has already registered for the game that they will need to register again.

    When I click on link it goes to nothing When I go on pokerstars and type it in manually it doesnt work? It tells me the id and code are invalid I have pokerstars pa downloaded and click on home games?

    The direct link only works if you have the Pokerstars client installed. So I am guessing your PA version is not the correct one.

    I think you might need the .net version of their software

    I was unable to use the regular client either.


    Anyone else chime in to confirm? I'm not 100% certain myself yet.

    You are approved for the club but still need to register for the SBR Sunday 300 tournament at some stage.

    Krashman and I are the only two signed up for the actual tourney so far.

    When I had only the software from .com site installed (real money), same result, clicking the link went to nothing.

    Then I installed the play money software from .net and click link and that client will launch.

    The install file you download should be called PokerStarsInstallPM.exe

    If you let the program install to it's default location on a windows computer, it will be located in a folder named pokerstars.NET if it is the correct version.

    The pokerstars PA real money is probably different version than the .com real money I started with, but hopefully the same will apply and you can install both the PA and the play money one from .NET.

    I'm good to go now. Whatever I did before I got the message waiting for approval. I saw someone else did also, so they must have done whatever I did the first time.
