Premier League Top Picks
Moneyline: Crystal Palace (+145) ★★★★
Nottingham Forest may have been able to pull off some of the sport’s biggest upsets across all competitions, but they still have won just one of their last 12 Premier League games.
Crystal Palace, on the other hand, have lost just one of their last five matches and won in three of those.
Wilfried Zaha recorded a goal and an assist in Palace’s 2-1 win over West Ham after his side down 1-0 early. He's recorded 3.8 expected goals and 1.5 expected assists in the Premier League this season.
With Zaha's six goals and two assists combined with Odsonne Edouard’s three goals and two assists, Palace have the edge over a Forest team that has allowed 13 goals since the beginning of October.
Spread: Bournemouth Asian handicap -0.5 (+175) ★★★
Everton and Bournemouth are battling to stay out of the relegation zone. It's the latter that just easily won the recent League Cup match between these two. Bournemouth have also shown a much greater ability to score than Everton.
Kieffer Moore scored twice in Bournemouth’s 3-2 loss to Tottenham, and Phillip Billing has four goals for the Cherries.
Everton have failed to score in four of their last five Premier League games, while Bournemouth have scored seven goals in their last five matches.
Total: Tottenham-Leeds Over 3.5 (+158) ★★★
Leeds matches have hit at least three goals in three straight, and two of those went Over 3.5. Leeds have scored eight goals in their last three matches.
Spurs games have also featured at least three goals in the last three, including the aforementioned five-goal thriller against Bournemouth.
Harry Kane has 11 Premier League goals this season on 9.0 expected goals. Meanwhile, Leeds have upped their offensive game thanks to the return of Rodrigo, who's scored seven goals this season - on 5.1 expected goals - and found the back of the net in three straight Premier League matches.
Upset: Leicester (+265) ★★★★
Leicester may be the league’s most improved team. They have lost just twice in the league since suffering a colossal meltdown to begin the campaign.
The Foxes have taken points from four of their last five matches and have scored eight goals in that time. James Maddison has six goals and four assists in Premier League play while Harvey Barnes has added another five goals.
As for West Ham, they have scored just four goals in their last five games, winning only one of those. No West Ham player has scored more than two goals this season, though their attack is much more balanced than Leicester's.
Said Benrahma has picked it up of late, but if Leicester can keep him at bay, they have a chance to win over a team that has conceded in five of its last six games.
Prop bet: Trossard to score (+220) ★★★★
Brighton sit sixth in the league, winning two of their last three Premier League games with the loss coming to Manchester City (there's no shame in that).
Even in their loss at the Etihad, Leandro Trossard was the lone scorer for Brighton to cut the deficit to one goal before Kevin De Bruyne sealed the match.
Trossard has seven goals - on 4.2 expected goals - and two assists, and he's scored or assisted in each of Brighton’s last three matches.
Aston Villa are conceding a goal per game on average, and Brighton’s top scorer will look to be the next to score against them.
Parlay: Alvarez and Mahrez to both score (+232)
After Manchester City attackers Julian Alvarez and Riyad Mahrez got on the board in the Carabao Cup against Chelsea, they’ll look to do it again against a Brentford team that is winless in its last four matches.
Alvarez has made back-to-back starts in the Premier League and scored in three consecutive games for City across Premier League, Champions League, and League Cup competitions. He has also scored three goals in Premier League play this season with 0.75 goals per 90 minutes.
As for Mahrez, he may just have one Premier League goal, but across all competitions has four goals and assisted once in the Champions League.
With Brentford allowing seven goals across their last three matches and averaging 1.5 goals against per game, going against the team with the most goals for in the Premier League almost ensures seeing this City pair get on the board.
