The Lions’ magical season has been overshadowing the consistency of the Vikings all year long. But Minnesota has still earned every opportunity to swipe the NFC North crown away from Detroit during the final game of the NFL's regular season. Both teams sit high in the Super Bowl odds.

Though the Lions will play on short rest after using their starters throughout Monday’s meaningless win over the 49ers, I’m leaning into the culture that Dan Campbell has built. 

Letting a dream path to the Super Bowl slip away in this raucous home environment on Sunday night simply doesn’t feel plausible for the Lions. Detroit boasts the second-best average margin of victory at home in the NFL, and it's outperformed spreads better than any other team with an average ATS margin of plus-7.1 points per game.

With most of the best NFL prop betting sites listing the spread at Lions -3, we’re looking to play this parlay at FanDuel to snare the -2.5 line ahead of a matchup that could easily end with a field-goal margin.

Jahmyr Gibbs Over 87.5 rushing yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Vikings are elite against the run, allowing just 88.1 rushing yards per game and a paltry 66.1 on the road this season. But that just might not matter against Jahmyr Gibbs.

Gibbs has cleared 100 rushing yards in consecutive weeks since David Montgomery’s injury. "Sonic" has shown his ability to carry a workload, with 18-plus rushing attempts in both games sans "Knuckles."

Gibbs torched the Vikings for 116 yards on 15 carries during his first meeting against Minnesota this season. We have another Gibbs pick in our Vikings vs. Lions SNF player prop bets.

Vikings RB Aaron Jones is in the middle of a miniature scoring drought after being kept out of the end zone in consecutive games heading into Week 18. However, before that he scored touchdowns in three of his previous four outings.

Jones now faces a Lions defense that's been far from infallible in this category. Detroit has surrendered 1.1 rushing touchdowns per game this season, and it's allowed six touchdowns on the ground over its past three contests.

FanDuel’s odds on the SGP come out to +483, nearly equal to the +485 odds DraftKings offers. Even better, we gain a half point on the spread and three yards on Gibbs' rushing line through FanDuel.
