Super Bowl Predictions & Picks 2025: Ravens, Vikings Headline Our Best Bets to Win Super Bowl 59

They say the best ability is availability, and our 2025 Super Bowl predictions have seen quite the shift with key players suffering injuries ahead of the NFL playoffs.
The Detroit Lions were the Super Bowl odds favorites until a Week 15 loss that also sidelined starters David Montgomery (MCL) and Alim McNeill (ACL) for potentially the rest of the season.
Meanwhile, Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is dealing with a "mild high-ankle sprain," according to , and the injury could hinder the Chiefs' quest for a three-peat.
That's why our updated Super Bowl predictions feature a new contender (and some juicy long shots) with compelling value across our best Super Bowl betting sites.
Who is predicted to win the Super Bowl?
Live updated Super Bowl odds from our best NFL betting sites.
There's a new Super Bowl favorite for the first time in a month, with the Buffalo Bills taking the top spot from the Lions after beating them at Ford Field on Sunday.
Josh Allen asserted his case as the overwhelming NFL MVP odds favorite after a 48-42 win that propelled Buffalo to being the title favorite, while the Philadelphia Eagles are just ahead of the Chiefs by the latest Super Bowl odds.
All four of those teams have earned a legitimate case to win it all. But my favorite bet entering Week 16 is on the outside of that group looking in, and that feels like a mistake from our best sportsbooks.
Best bet: Ravens (+850)
I was skeptical of Baltimore's title chances, as the team entered this season with an inexperienced offensive line and key changes defensively. And sure enough, those issues persisted through the first half of the season, with the Ravens struggling to close out close games.
But we've seen the defense round into form over the last month, and Lamar Jackson looked every bit like an MVP-caliber quarterback this past week, as he has all season long. With his best supporting cast around him, it's hard not to believe in Jackson's ability to carry this group to the Super Bowl for the first time in his career.
That's especially true with Mahomes hobbled for the Chiefs, who have been my best bet all season long. The close losses don't concern me as much as the roster attrition that seems to be adding up for the reigning champions. They haven't looked otherworldly enough to overcome that, especially not if Mahomes is hurt.
We've seen the Ravens' odds move anywhere from +500 to +1500 this year, so I don't mind a bet at these +850 odds via ESPN BET on what could be the NFL's best team. I like their chances more than any other team at this price.

Prediction: Vikings to win the NFC (+800)
I've had the Vikings in this spot for weeks now, and I like their chances even more after the slew of injuries to the NFC North-leading Lions.
Minnesota ranks sixth in net EPA per play (+0.14) entering tonight's contest with the Chicago Bears while boasting perhaps the NFL's most terrifying defense behind renowned play-caller Brian Flores. Its offense has been electric, too, with Kevin O'Connell dialing up ways to get his elite playmakers in space.
By my money, there isn't a team in the NFL with a larger misalignment between its futures odds and the actual path to the Super Bowl. If the Vikings can navigate the messy NFC and book their ticket to New Orleans for the Super Bowl, a $10 bet at ESPN BET would return an $80 profit.
Best odds: +800 via ESPN BET | Implied probability: 11.11%
Long shot: Chargers to win the Super Bowl (+5000)
Yes, I know Los Angeles is coming off a puzzling loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 15. But this feels like the perfect time to back a team that possesses all the key ingredients of a Super Bowl contender in theory.
Justin Herbert is one of the NFL's five best quarterbacks, and he's proven it this year even with less gaudy counting stats in Greg Roman's system. Jim Harbaugh has consistently coached winning teams at every level, and he's doing it again during his first year in Los Angeles.
Pair that with a borderline top-five defense depending on the week and a physical rushing attack, and I'm not sure what there isn't to like.
The latest NFL playoff odds show the Bolts as a virtual lock for the postseason, and I just can't shake the feeling that Herbert and Harbaugh can pull off a four-game win streak under pressure. That's why I love this long-shot value at BetRivers as a hedge against the Ravens, whom the Chargers nearly beat a few weeks ago.

Super Bowl odds: AFC vs. NFC
Super Bowl conference winner odds via DraftKings.
Market | AFC | NFC |

There's a reason I'm pegging the Ravens and Chargers to win the Super Bowl but the Vikings to win the NFC. The AFC is simply the more dangerous conference, even if our best sports betting apps don't agree with that assessment.
The Conference of Quarterbacks™ has won seven of the last 10 Super Bowls, including two straight, and three of the five consensus title favorites hail from the AFC entering Week 16.
That includes the two-time reigning champion Chiefs, who are still clearly a threat to win it all if Mahomes is healthy. If they don't, my money is on the Bills, Ravens, or Chargers stopping their path as opposed to Kansas City losing in the Big Game.
The exact matchup odds at DraftKings of the Ravens beating the Vikings (+2500) or the Vikings beating the Chiefs (+3500) are intriguing, though I'd still rather just bet one of those teams straight up.
