It figures to be tough sledding for New Orleans offensively without Derek Carr and Alvin Kamara available for Monday night's game. Even with this massive spread, the Packers are well-positioned to stifle the Saints.

  • Green Bay boasts the sixth-best home scoring defense in the NFL, allowing only 18.1 points per game
  • The Packers are 3-2 ATS as a home favorite and they’ve averaged a +8.3 margin against the spread in those spots
  • The Saints are 2-4 ATS as a road team this season

Josh Jacobs has been a one-man wrecking crew for the Packers this season — and Monday night’s chilly conditions should suit him against the beleaguered New Orleans run defense.

  • Jacobs has cleared this rushing line only five times on the year, but he’s coming off a 94-yard performance in which he drew 26 carries against Seattle last week

In conjunction with our prediction that the Saints will be chasing a negative game script all night, Kendre Miller should get a chance to show off his receiving chops in the Alvin Kamara role.

Miller isn’t known as a big pass-catching threat, but this Saints offense has relied upon Kamara for checkdowns for years. To ease his burden, third-string quarterback Spencer Rattler should do so with Miller, who broke off two gains of 30-plus yards on 10 receptions in sporadic duty during his rookie year in 2023.
