Saints vs. Chiefs MNF Prop Bets, Odds Tonight: Monday Night Football
Last Updated: October 6, 2024 3:36 PM EDT • 4 min 26 sec read.
The Kansas City Chiefs will look to remain undefeated and hand the New Orleans Saints their third consecutive loss tonight. The Chiefs enter the game as the favorite in the Super Bowl odds.
Despite all of their injuries, the latest Monday Night Football odds show the Chiefs favored to defeat the Saints. How will those issues impact not only the game but also the best Saints vs. Chiefs MNF prop bets?
No injury is more significant than the one to the Chiefs’ leading receiver Rashee Rice. What does his absence mean for Travis Kelce and Xavier Worthy?
Meanwhile, Alvin Kamara is very quietly producing an excellent season. Will that continue tonight?

Travis Kelce Over 56.5 receiving yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
With Rashee Rice on the injured reserve, it’s finally Travis Kelce’s time to shine.
Kelce took over when Rice went down last week, catching seven passes for 89 yards. He was targeted nine times. No one else on the Chiefs received more than four looks.
The opposing defense really doesn’t matter. Kelce will hit this number because the Chiefs have few other reliable options right now.
However, it does help that the Saints’ pass defense isn’t very good. It's allowing 233.8 passing yards per game, ranking ninth-worst in the league.
FanDuel is listing this total at 55.5, but it's asking -113 for the Over. Kelce should hit this number with ease, so take the extra yard for the better price at bet365.

Xavier Worthy Over 3.5 receptions (-106) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
With Rice out, Xavier Worthy is suddenly the top wide receiver in Kansas City. The rookie has caught only nine passes this season, but he's averaging 17.1 yards per reception. I could go with his total yards for Monday, but the receptions prop is the better play.
Worthy’s role will be different, as Patrick Mahomes’ options are incredibly thin. The rookie hasn’t caught many passes, but Worthy has recorded multiple catches in each of his outings. More importantly, he’s been targeted four times in each of his last three contests. The targets will go up Monday, and so will his receptions.

The price at FanDuel is outstanding. Three of our five best sports betting sites are setting the Over with odds of -120 or worse. To get this at -106 in a favorable matchup is too good to pass up for one of your NFL Week 5 predictions.

Alvin Kamara Over 101.5 rushing + receiving yards (-115 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐
While the Saints have been inconsistent this season, Kamara has been steady. The long shot in the NFL Offensive Player of the Year odds has run for at least 77 yards in every game while also recording 40-plus receiving yards in each of his last three games.
This low number does feel like a bit of a trap considering Kamara has easily topped it in every game this season.
However, I’m chalking up the low number to the Chiefs’ defense. The unit has been allowing fewer than 100 rushing yards per game. If the Chiefs lead for most of the contest, Kamara is doomed to set a new season low in rushing yards. But Derek Carr will continue to target him in the passing game, which is how he’ll get over 100 yards.
FanDuel is featuring this total at 105.5, with that book asking for nearly the same price as BetMGM for the four extra yards. I don’t expect this number to move much before kickoff, but grab the odds here from BetMGM soon just in case.
