Is there anything that can stop the Patrick Mahomes-led Chiefs?

The Chiefs endured a decidedly rocky path through the regular season last year, but none of it ended up mattering. Kansas City ground their opponents into dust in the playoffs. The Ravens were one of those teams in the Chiefs' path, too.

The AFC Championship Game rematch is set for tonight at 8:20 p.m. ET to kick off the NFL season as part of our NFL predictions for Week 1. We project more of the same in our Ravens vs. Chiefs parlay for a Kansas City squad ready to fire on nearly all of its cylinders from the jump.

We also broke down the game in full detail with our Ravens vs. Chiefs prediction for tonight.

SGP predictions for Ravens vs. Chiefs

Chiefs -3 (+100) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Last year’s Chiefs had the unusual distinction within the Mahomes era of the defense largely carrying the team. Kansas City ranked second while allowing just 17.0 points per game, and its offense sputtered at times due to a lackluster receiving corps.

Better group around Mahomes?

The Chiefs' offseason moves were geared toward improving on offense, including adding deep threat Xavier Worthy. That should make the Chiefs even more imposing than they were in Baltimore last January.

Replacing linebacker Patrick Queen could also be a tough task for a Ravens team that couldn’t handle the Chiefs at home the last time we saw them.

Caesars is listing the odds on the Chiefs -3 at even money. That’s a small edge over the present -102 odds at DraftKings and FanDuel. BetMGM features the Chiefs at a valuable -2.5 within their SGP section, but running the full parlay at BetMGM resulted in poor overall odds (+750).

Gary Pearson also believes the Chiefs are well-positioned to cover in his Ravens vs. Chiefs prediction.

Worthy anytime TD scorer (+180) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

We mentioned Worthy as a potential difference-maker tonight, so let’s lean into that position while calling for the first-round wide receiver to score in his debut regular-season NFL game.

Showing off the new toy

The recent development across the NFL of defenses commonly play two high safeties was originally a ploy to slow down Mahomes. He and the Chiefs have adjusted in recent years, but all reports indicate they want to be stubborn about swinging the pendulum back the other way when it comes to Worthy.

Look for Andy Reid to make a point of showing off his new toy with a couple of deep shots for the speedster out of Texas tonight.

Worthy is +180 to score at Caesars, with DraftKings (+185) and FanDuel (+190) providing more value on this leg of the SGP. But after plugging in our third pick, we were surprised to see the incredible value on this parlay when played at Caesars.

Henry anytime TD scorer (-118) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Although Kansas City’s defense produced one of the lowest rates of rushing touchdowns allowed per game last season, the Ravens are going to feature Derrick Henry heavily. They're built to plow it in from short distances after adding Henry via free agency.

Esten McLaren thinks it's also wise to target another Ravens running back in his anytime touchdown scorer predictions for Week 1.

Showcasing the prized free agent

Henry drew 15 rushing attempts inside the 5-yard line behind a lesser offensive line in Tennessee last year, scoring touchdowns on seven of those carries. Similar to our expectations for how the Chiefs will want to highlight their rookie receiver in the opener, we expect Baltimore to hand it off to King Henry in goal-to-go scenarios to justify the signing from Day 1.

Andrew Brennan also sees a volume-based opportunity with Henry in his Ravens vs. Chiefs player props.

Caesars lists Henry with -118 odds for an anytime TD, providing an edge over the -125 odds found at DraftKings and FanDuel. Though Worthy’s odds weren’t too favorable at Caesars, the +100 odds on the Chiefs spread help to boost the SGP to a massive +1000 at Caesars.

That value blows the doors off the odds for this parlay at DraftKings (+900) and FanDuel (+760). A winning $10 parlay at Caesars would profit $100.
