The Thanksgiving nightcap features the New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium, and a same-game parlay is the perfect way to enjoy the holiday finale.

New England heads to U.S. Bank Stadium in the thick of a playoff race in the competitive AFC. The Patriots are 6-4, and a road win in Week 12 would be a boon to their chances of earning a postseason berth.

The Vikings are in cruise control with an 8-2 record and a four-game lead in the NFC North. However, the Dallas Cowboys just dominated them while winning 40-3 in Week 11. That might lead to added motivation to build on their 4-1 home record in front of the Minny faithful.

Here are my same-game parlay picks for the Week 12 Thanksgiving Day matchup between the Patriots and Vikings (odds via FanDuel Sportsbook; Pick confidence is based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Same-Game Parlay Predictions for Patriots-Vikings

Vikings -6.5 (+162) ★★

This Vikings alternate spread is below the key number of 7, and they’re also playing at home on a short week. Expect the Vikings to produce a rebound showing after the Cowboys dominated them, and they should be especially energized on offense.

The Patriots ranking No. 1 in defensive DVOA is a definite concern. But I anticipate the Pats being less disruptive with the quick turnaround ahead of a road game.

Additionally, New England's offensive line is banged up, with left guard Isaiah Wynn (foot) already ruled out, and both center David Andrews (thigh) and right tackle Yodny Cajuste (calf) listed as questionable.

Check out our Thanksgiving Day picks roundup.

Thielen Over 49.5 receiving yards (+114) ★★★

Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen averaged five receptions for 53.9 yards on 7.5 targets through the eight games preceding the Week 11 outlier showing against the Cowboys.

Expect him to be more involved Thursday, with the Patriots focusing on slowing down No. 1 wide receiver Justin Jefferson and running back Dalvin Cook. The Patriots rank fourth in DVOA against No. 1 receivers, but they drop to producing the 20th-ranked DVOA against opposing No. 2 wideouts.

Hockenson Over 39.5 receiving yards (-154) ★★★

Similar to the prior leg of this same-game parlay, Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson is well-positioned to thrive as a secondary weapon against the Patriots.

Hockenson has hauled in 21 of 28 targets for 149 yards through three games with the Vikings. He’s also cleared this yardage total in two of three outings. He'll benefit from New England's defense focusing on Jefferson and Cook as well.
