It's one of the biggest games of the Week 17 NFL slate as two NFC North powerhouses square off.

Sam Darnold and the Minnesota Vikings hope to keep their NFC North title hopes alive when they host Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers. Both squads are among the top Super Bowl odds contenders. 

The Vikings won 31-29 when these teams met earlier in the season, but Love threw for 389 yards and four touchdowns. As we continue our NFL Week 17 predictions, there are plenty of options for my Packers vs. Vikings player prop picks & touchdown prediction. Reed has scored seven touchdowns this season but hasn’t scored in the last three games. However, he did have his best game of the year against the Vikings earlier this season, catching seven passes for 139 yards and one touchdown.

The Vikings have had trouble against the pass for most of the season, and they’re allowing 1.5 touchdown passes per game. While Reed hasn’t been a formidable red-zone threat of late, he’s still second on the team in receiving touchdowns with six.

With Christian Watson missing practice on Friday, there’s a chance that Reed gets a few more looks with the receiving corps potentially down a member.

The only time Love topped 300 yards this season was against the Vikings in their first meeting. Since then, Love has thrown for at least 250 yards four times, as the balanced Packers’ offense has relied heavily on the running game to get to 11-4.

While I don’t expect Love to get near the total he hit in Week 4, he should clear this number. The Vikings are still allowing the third-most passing yards in the NFL, and over the last three weeks, they’ve given up an average of 270.3 per game.

Aaron Jones ran the ball 22 times for 93 yards the first time these two teams met. However, he only ran the ball as often as he did because the Vikings jumped to a 28-0 lead. He won't get nearly as many touches in a much closer game, and one the Vikings even potentially trail.

With that in mind, Jones has run for at least 67 yards in three consecutive games, averaging 4.5 yards per carry this season. But the Packers have the eighth-ranked run defense, allowing just 4.1 yards per carry.

This total is set at 64.5 yards at four of the five major sportsbooks. Caesars has the total at 63.5, one of the worst prices for the Under (-118).
