The Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers rev it up for a Wild Card Weekend showdown on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET (FOX) from Lincoln Financial Field.

  • Green Bay lost to Chicago last week and finished 1-5 against NFC North opponents
  • The Eagles tied a franchise record with 14 wins and are among the five Super Bowl odds favorites entering the postseason
  • Philadelphia beat Green Bay 34-29 in Sao Paulo in Week 1

The Wild Card Weekend odds have the Eagles as 4.5-point favorites, and our Packers vs. Eagles early picks and odds back the road underdogs to cover the spread.

Eagles starting quarterback Jalen Hurts has not played for two weeks after failing to clear concussion protocol.

This line suggests he will be ready to go for Wild Card Weekend, but those willing to back the Packers may want to wait, as it could move away from them once Hurts' availability is confirmed.

Green Bay is 0-5 against teams with 12 or more wins this season, but it is one of seven teams that allows fewer than 100 rushing yards per game, which is essential when facing Philadelphia’s second-ranked rushing attack.

Moneyline

  • Eagles best odds: | Implied probability: 64.91%
  • Packers best odds: +185 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 35.09%

There is a big 40-cent gap between Philadelphia’s -185 moneyline odds at bet365 and BetMGM’s -225 odds on the high end of the market.

Oddsmakers at bet365 and DraftKings (where Green Bay is a +160 moneyline underdog) are showing respect for a Packers team that went 10-1 against teams outside the NFC North.

Compared to last year, when Philadelphia was in a nose dive entering the playoffs, it has momentum amid its longest home winning streak (seven games) since 2016-17.

As long as the spread remains north of a field goal, Philadelphia should be a more popular moneyline than spread play and will be a common pick involved in parlays.

Spread

  • Eagles best odds: -4.5 (-105) via FanDuel
  • Packers best odds: +4.5 (-105) via DraftKings

DraftKings is offering Green Bay at +4.5. Favorites went 33-15 ATS (69%) from Weeks 15-17. The Eagles should be one of the more popular favorites over Wild Card Weekend considering they covered as 1.5-point favorites in a 34-29 neutral site win over Green Bay in Week 1.

Over/Under

  • Over best odds: 46.5 (-110) via FanDuel
  • Under best odds: 47.5 (-118) via DraftKings

DraftKings is the only top sports betting site with an O/U of 47.5, a big one-point difference from the rest of our best sportsbooks.

The O/U for the Week 1 contest between these two teams was 49.5 points. But even though the two teams combined for 63 points, the weather and altitude in Sao Paulo were much different than the cold conditions expected in Philadelphia.

The Over of 46.5 is juiced to -115 at BetMGM, suggesting it is likely that the total increases at least to 47 and aligns closer to DraftKings’ number. If and when Jalen Hurts clears concussion protocol, we should see a slight uptick in the total.

Green Bay had an O/U record of 8-8-1 this year, while Philadelphia was more profitable to the Under, cashing it in 10 of its 17 games.
