The Green Bay Packers hope to keep their slim playoff hopes alive, but will have to tangle with the 9-1 Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football. Read on for our best Packers-Eagles picks.

Green Bay (4-7) comes off a 27-17 loss to the Tennessee Titans, the Titans’ largest winning margin this season. Another loss would put the Packers’ postseason hopes in serious jeopardy, as they already start the week 2.5 games out of the NFC's final playoff spot.

Philadelphia (9-1) followed up its first defeat to the Washington Commanders with a come-from-behind victory against the Indianapolis Colts. The Eagles outscored the Colts 14-3 in the fourth quarter and needed a seven-yard touchdown run by quarterback Jalen Hurts with 1:20 left to get the win.

The line moved slightly in Green Bay’s favor this week, and we're unsure why. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has played with a broken thumb for several weeks. Considering the Eagles rank third-best in DVOA pass defense, there are not many more bad matchups for Rodgers than this Philadelphia D. 

Green Bay’s defense couldn't get off the field last week on third-down, as the Titans converted a season-high 53.8% of their third-down attempts (7-for-13) and had 100 yards on third-down plays.

Expect the Eagles to build off the momentum of their first win since 2010 when trailing by double digits entering the fourth quarter.

While all sportsbooks offer the same enticing line for Eagles backers laying less than a touchdown, wagering at BetMGM saves the -115 juice you'd have to pay to back them at DraftKings or FanDuel.

Rodgers went 4-for-12 for 93 yards on passes 15+ yards downfield against Tennessee . So while he's established an intriguing connection with wideout Christian Watson (five TDs in the previous two weeks), expect the NFL's best cornerback duo of Darius Slay and James Bradberry to limit his big-play ability.

Though Philadelphia allowed the league's sixth most rushing yards over its last three games, new defensive line acquisitions Ndamukong Suh and Linval Joseph should pay huge dividends in this contest. The Eagles limited Colts running back Jonathan Taylor to 35 rushing yards after the first possession. Their ability to negate Packers RBs Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon is vital, given Green Bay’s inability to consistently pass.

Making this wager at Caesars offers value in multiple ways, as it's one of four major sportsbooks offering the 46.5 point number, but one of the only ones not making customers pay -115 in juice.

He'll either draw Slay or Bradberry in coverage for most of the game, and the Eagles secondary allows the tenth-fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers. Expect Green Bay to rely more heavily on its run game, topping the 43.9% run rate it averaged over the last three matchups.
