There's a wide array of NFL regular-season team props available at our best NFL betting sites, including the team to finish last in the league in scoring. Read on for our picks for the NFL's lowest-scoring team, using NFL odds from the best sports betting sites.

Unlike the highest-scoring team, the race for the lowest-scoring team in the NFL last season was a tight one.

The five lowest-scoring teams finished within 12 points of each other. And while the Houston Texans were expected to be amongst the group, the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts were not.

The Broncos scored just 287 points last season, with the team struggling to find the end zone under Nathaniel Hackett and quarterback Russell Wilson. The Colts and Texans came a close second-last at 289 points. The Colts and Broncos were expected to, at the very least, challenge for a playoff spot last season.

This should underscore the point that this is a market where bettors shouldn't be afraid to take a long shot.

Who meets that profile entering the 2023 season?

NFL lowest scoring team pick

Cardinals (+650)

While we would like to only recommend a long-shot pick, we can't ignore the stench emanating from the desert.

The Arizona Cardinals own the shortest odds to post the fewest points and to finish with the worst record in 2023. Franchise quarterback Kyler Murray tore his ACL in Week 14 of last season and therefore could miss a significant chunk of the 2023 campaign. The Cardinals have also said they won't rush his return from such a major injury.

His backup last season, Colt McCoy, suffered a neck injury and concussion late last season and the team owner has said the veteran will be . This is the supposed starter for the 2023 season. The third-stringer is fifth-round draft pick Clayton Tune.

Along with the uncertainty at quarterback, the Cards also cut their No. 1 receiver DeAndre Hopkins and made few signings longer than a one-year deal in free agency. They've parted with much of the talent that existed on their roster and will have six matchups with the strong defenses of their NFC West opponents.

Add to the mix that Arizona traded out of the top three in this year's draft to acquire what could likely be a top-five pick in next year's draft, and it's led to accusations of tanking in 2023.

The Cardinals' odds to finish with the worst record sit anywhere from +200 to +320 at our best sports betting apps. There's better value betting on Zona to finish last in scoring.

Titans (+1200)

Further down the oddsboard, we also have our eye on the Tennessee Titans.

The Titans finished 28th in scoring last year, but just 12 points off from the league-worst Broncos.

Quarterback Ryan Tannehill missed five games last year and the team was forced to turn to rookie Malik Willis and late-season signing Joshua Dobbs. Their poor performances helped drive down the team's point total.

Tannehill is still recovering from the high ankle sprain that cost him the end of the season, and the team has since drafted his potential replacement in Will Levis. If Levis sees significant time in 2023, it could lead to the team bottoming out.

Stud running back Derrick Henry is still in tow and the Titans made improvements along the offensive line, but the same can't be said for the receiver corps. The team's wideouts combined for six receiving touchdowns last season. In a passing league, that's a stunning total.

While we can see the Titans finishing last in scoring, there's better value betting on Tennessee to have the worst record in 2023.
