The New York Jets travel upstate to Orchard Park to take on the Buffalo Bills on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on CBS. The Bills are holding on to the second seed in the AFC but still have to fight off fellow Super Bowl odds favorites, the Baltimore Ravens.

New York has seen its Jets stumble and bumble through another miserable season despite having a future Hall-of-Fame quarterback under center.

They are 4-11 on the year, just a game up on the bottom-feeding New England Patriots in the AFC East. My Jets vs. Bills player prop picks, part of our NFL Week 17 predictions, feature Davante Adams, Greg Rousseau, and Keon Coleman.

The sun might be setting on the Rodgers-Adams connection in New York. If it is, it's going down in a blaze of glory with the two touching up opposing defenses for 441 yards and five touchdowns over their last four games.

Further driving this narrative is that Rodgers is one touchdown pass away from throwing his 500th. Last week, he targeted Adams four times in the Jets’ final drive against the Los Angeles Rams, trying to get him into the end zone.

You can get cute on this and take a first touchdown at +1100 at BetMGM, but I am not putting faith in the Jets to find the end zone first in this game.

Instead, I’ll bank on it happening at some point and take the $16.50 profit for a $10 bet.

Rousseau leads the Bills' defense with 7.5 sacks this season, and he’s registered four of them over the last seven games.

The fourth-year defensive end will be in a prime position to pick up his fifth in eight outings against a Jets offensive line that has given up at least one sack in every game this year and 33 sacks in total. Rodgers has been taken down 15 times behind the line of scrimmage in his last seven games. 

The best part of this prop is that Rousseau can still bring back an $8.70 profit on your $10 wager, even if he gets credited with half a sack.

Coleman has made a sizable impact on the Buffalo offense in his limited role in the receiving corps. The rookie wideout has the second-most receiving yards yet is only the fourth-most targeted pass catcher.

He’s been targeted twice in each of his last three games, catching one per contest. Beforehand, he went on a three-game run in which he was targeted 14 times, registering at least three receptions in each. 

Buffalo is facing a Jets defense that has allowed the fourth-most completions per game (26) over their last three outings. At least two wide receivers have hit the Over on this prop against New York in its last six contests.

Paired with receiving passes from the MVP odds ;front-runner, I expect Coleman to benefit from the porous Jets defense.
