No quarterback in NFL history has produced a more accurate start to their career than Jayden Daniels, who leads the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds.

The Washington Commanders quarterback has completed 82.1% of his pass attempts in his first four games, helping the team win three straight and grab the early lead in the NFC East. As a result, the Commanders sit among the second-tier contenders in the Super Bowl odds.

However, Sunday’s Week 5 matchup with the Cleveland Browns should be the toughest challenge in Daniels’ young career. Cleveland has given up an average of 18 points in its last three games, and the Browns are desperate to avoid dropping to 1-4 on the season.

Will Daniels’ red-hot start continue? Or can the Browns slow down Washington’s sensational rookie? We break it down in our Jayden Daniels player prop bets for Week 5.

Jayden Daniels first touchdown (+700) ⭐⭐⭐

It’s hard to find much value in the Jayden Daniels touchdown markets, as oddsmakers at our best sports betting sites have been slashing prices in response to his hot start. For example, the Over on 1.5 Daniels touchdown passes this week pays just +146 at Caesars, compared to nearly +200 in Week 1.

I’d rather back Daniels on the first touchdown market and hope that he runs for the first score on Sunday as part of our NFL Week 5 predictions. He’s run for a TD in three of his four career games, including two in the season opener.

Meanwhile, Cleveland has allowed five rushing touchdowns this year, and just three through the air.

Jayden Daniels Over 48.5 Rushing Yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

All the hype about Daniels’ passing accuracy might cause you to forget how dangerous he is with his legs.

Daniels has scampered for 281 yards already this season on 4.7 yards per carry. He ran for 1,134 yards at LSU last year, eclipsing the 100-yard mark in three of his last four games. That includes 234 yards against Florida.

Cleveland’s tough defense has been most vulnerable this season against the run. The Browns come into Week 5 yet to hold an opposing team under 100 rushing yards, and they gave up 152 in last Sunday’s loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Only one quarterback, Trevor Lawrence of the Jacksonville Jaguars, has run for more than 20 yards against the Browns this season. However, the three other quarterbacks were Dak Prescott, Daniel Jones, and Gardner Minshew, a trio that's combined for 107 rushing yards on the season.

Daniels is by far the most mobile QB the Browns have faced this campaign, and I expect that to show on Sunday.

Jayden Daniels longest completion Under 34.5 Yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Daniels’ completion percentage may be elite, but it also indicates he doesn’t take many downfield shots. In fact, Daniels’ longest completion on the season was a 55-yard connection with Terry McLaurin in Week 3, the only game this year in which he's posted a passing play of more than 34 yards.

The Browns have only given up one passing play over 34 yards this year, and they held the Raiders to a long of 19 in last week’s loss to Vegas. If Pro Bowl corner Denzel Ward can neutralize McLaurin, there aren’t many other threats for explosive plays in Washington’s receiver corps.
