The Pittsburgh Steelers are running hot after consecutive wins, and they're set to take on a New York Giants team looking to break a two-game losing streak at 8:15 p.m. ET from Acrisure Stadium (ESPN). The Steelers are clawing to get out of the second tier in the Super Bowl odds

Our first touchdown scorer predictions for Monday Night Football focus on two wide receivers who are the focal point of their team’s passing attacks. One has been elevated due to injuries, while the other is enjoying the presence of a veteran being under center for the first time all year.

Touchdowns haven't been plentiful for either of these teams, as both are in the bottom third of the league in that category. The game total sits at just 36.5 in the Monday Night Football odds as a result.

For that reason, I’ll be sticking to a pair of players who still get plenty of opportunities to score this week, hoping one can find the end zone first in this game.

Mike Spector dove deeper into the matchup in his Giants vs. Steelers prediction.

The Giants have scored nine times offensively this season, ranking second-last in the league. Wan’Dale Robinson accounts for 22% of those scores.

Robinson was the first New York player to cross the goal line during the Giants’ Week 5 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. He now leads the team in targets (67) after taking over as the main pass-catcher amid the injury to Malik Nabers. Daniel Jones has looked to him 10 times in the red zone this year, with Robinson hauling in six of those throws, including two for a touchdown.

Of the plays that have found the end zone against the Steelers, 72.7% have been receiving scores. That's the league's fourth-highest percentage.

Spector is also backing Robinson in his Giants vs. Steelers MNF prop bets, as is Esten McLaren in his anytime touchdown scorer predictions.

Pickens scored his first touchdown of the season last week in Russell Wilson’s regular-season debut as Pittsburgh's quarterback. The two connected five times on nine attempts for a team-high 111 yards. Their touchdown was the first of the game for the Steelers.

The former Georgia Bulldog leads the Steelers in targets (53) and receptions (31), more than doubling the output of Calvin Austin III, who's second among wideouts in both categories.

Now he faces a Giants offense that's allowing more touchdowns to wide receivers (seven) than to any other position. At least one wideout has crossed the goal line in five of New York’s seven games this season. That's in part what's also making Phil Wood optimistic about the Steelers' passing offense in his Russell Wilson MNF player prop bets.

I expect Wilson to build on the chemistry he's creating with his new favorite target, giving them a chance to score early and for you to turn $10 bet into an $82.50 profit.
