First Touchdown Scorer Predictions for Monday Night Football Week 15

It’s a doubleheader Monday Night Football slate to close out Week 15, as the Atlanta Falcons visit the Las Vegas Raiders and the Chicago Bears lock horns with the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings sit seventh in the Super Bowl odds.

We're eye two key wide receivers from the slate in our first touchdown scorer predictions for Monday Night Football.

At 8 p.m. ET on ABC, the Vikings (11-2) look to keep pace with the Detroit Lions and the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC playoff picture. They host a Chicago Bears (4-9) team on a seven-game losing streak. 

Then at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN, the Atlanta Falcons (6-7) look to keep their slim postseason hopes alive against the Las Vegas Raiders (2-11), who have been eliminated from playoff contention.

Vikings first touchdown scorer prediction: Jordan Addison, WR ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: | Implied probability: 10%

Addison has scored seven touchdowns this season, tying fellow wideout Justin Jefferson for the most on the team. He’s riding a wave of momentum while coming off of a game when Addison torched the Atlanta Falcons for three touchdowns and 133 yards on eight catches.

The outstanding young talent has been the first Vikings player to reach the end zone in four of the club's last six games. He's also been the first player to cross the goal line overall in a game twice this year.

Minnesota has only scored the first touchdown once in its last six contests. However, I expect the Bears to struggle to score this week with Roschon Johnson, their leading scorer, out for this game. D'Andre Swift is also banged up heading into this matchup, which could further hamper Chicago’s ability to move the ball.

Falcons first touchdown scorer prediction: Drake London, WR ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: | Implied probability: 10.53%

London enters Week 15 leading Atlanta with six receiving touchdowns. He's logged the first touchdown in three games so far this season.  

While he’s on a bit of a scoring drought, the third-year wideout is facing a Raiders defense allowing an average of two passing touchdowns per game over the team's last three matchups, tying the unit for the third-most leaguewide over that span. 

Atlanta running back Bijan Robinson is the heavy favorite at +400 through BetMGM to find the end zone first in this matchup. However, the last five teams to face the Raiders have scored first via the passing game.

I expect London to end his scoreless streak and do it early in the game, turning your $10 wager into a $85 dollar profit.
