The surprising Denver Broncos look to keep their playoff hopes alive against the struggling Cleveland Browns to end Week 13.

The Broncos are still in the hunt for a postseason appearance and play host to the Browns on Monday Night Football at 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN) at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colo.

My first touchdown scorer predictions for Monday Night Football zero in on a couple of players coming off multi-touchdown performances last week.

Scoring has come easy for the Browns this season as Cleveland enters the week with the third-fewest touchdowns per game (1.8) on the year. Despite their record, Denver hasn’t fared much better scoring 2.3 touchdowns per game this season.

As part of our Week 13 NFL predictions, we also made our Browns vs. Broncos predictionBrowns vs. Broncos player props, and anytime touchdown scorer predictions for MNF.

Picking someone to score a touchdown on a team that has scored the second-fewest touchdowns in the league this season (20) is not an easy feat. That’s why I am backing a player who has accounted for 15% of his team’s touchdowns in his limited appearances.

Nick Chubb has played in only five games since his return from injury, yet still leads the team in rushing touchdowns (3) and is tied with Cedric Tillman for the most touchdowns in Cleveland.

The veteran back found the end zone twice last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was also the first to cross the goal line for either team in that contest.

Denver’s defense is allowing the second-fewest points per game (16.9) this year and the fewest touchdowns per game (1.6), which will make it tough for any Browns player to reach the end zone.

However, if Chubb manages to overcome the odds, you will profit $85 on a $10 wager.

Broncos first touchdown scorer prediction: Courtland Sutton, WR ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +800 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 11.11%

Three of Courtland Sutton’s five touchdowns this season have come within the last three weeks. Last week, he hung two scores on the Las Vegas Raiders. While he was not the first player to find the end zone in the game, he was the first of the Broncos to cross the goal line.

Sutton leads Denver in touchdowns scored this season. He more than doubles three other Broncos in receiving touchdowns.

The long-tenured Denver wideout gets plenty of opportunities to score from short range entering this game as the fourth-most targeted wide receiver in the league inside the red zone (18).

The Browns have surrendered a touchdown to the wide receiver position in all but one of their games this year. If Sutton can do it this week and be the first to do so, you will get an $80 profit on your $10 bet.
