The injury-riddled Tampa Bay Buccaneers look to avenge their Week 5 loss to the Atlanta Falcons with first place in the NFC South on the line.

Chris Godwin and Mike Evans are both out for Tampa Bay, which has helped make the Falcons road favorites for their 1 p.m. ET (FOX) matchup with the Buccaneers on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

Their absence is why Atlanta is a 2-point favorite, but how will the loss of the two star receivers impact Falcons vs. Buccaneers player prop bets?

Baker Mayfield is going to need to get creative, as the two players accounted for nearly half of his passing yardage. That's why our Week 8 NFL predictions expect a huge game for tight end Cade Otton.

Falcons vs. Buccaneers touchdown pick

Drake London anytime touchdown scorer (+115) ⭐⭐⭐

Drake London has scored a touchdown in three consecutive games and five of his last six overall. In his first meeting with the Buccaneers, he finished with 12 catches for 154 yards and one touchdown.

The Bucs are tied for 24th in the league in passing touchdowns allowed this season. They’re giving up 1.6 per contest, and they allowed four to Kirk Cousins in Week 5. London currently accounts for half of Cousins’ touchdown passes this season.

Every major sportsbook has this price at +100 or worse. That means that no sportsbook believes that London has a better than 50% chance of scoring in this game. But based on how much he’s scored this season, and this matchup, it's worth taking the risk.

Best odds: +115 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 46.51%

Best Falcons vs. Buccaneers prop bets

Bake Mayfield Under 232.5 passing yards (-110)

Mayfield has racked up 1,859 passing yards this season, which is the second-most in the league. He has thrown for over 300 yards in back-to-back weeks and three of his last four games.

But Mayfield only threw for 180 yards in his first game against the Falcons. So, without Evans and Godwin, how does he top this number?

Evans and Godwin account for 911 of Mayfield’s passing yards this season. The next leading wide receiver on the team is Sterling Shepard with only 93 yards. Since the Falcons are allowing just 199.1 passing yards per game, there is nothing to like about this matchup.

This total is listed between 227.5 and 232.5 at every major sportsbook. Not only is bet365 offering the highest total, but it’s also offering the longest price.

Best odds: -110 via bet365 | Implied probability: 52.83%

Cade Otton Over 4.5 receptions (+100)

Entering Week 8, Otton leads all healthy Buccaneer receiving options with 27 catches for 263 yards. In his first game against the Falcons, Otton was only targeted four times, and he managed to catch just three passes. But last week, with Evans exiting the game early, Otton took over, catching eight passes for 100 yards.

Otton has caught at least six passes in three of his last five games. He’s been targeted 41 times this season, which is 16 more than the next highest of the healthy players on this roster.

The price for this prop is -115 at four of the five major sportsbooks. For some reason, FanDuel hasn’t moved with the other sportsbooks and is offering a fantastic price. This price will likely get worse before kickoff with Mayfield’s options so limited, so get in soon.
