The Baltimore Ravens have lost their hold on the AFC North and now cling to a wild-card spot. They will try to respond with a home game against the Atlanta Falcons. Read on for our Falcons-Ravens NFL pick and prediction based on current odds.
The Baltimore Ravens fell 13-3 to the Cleveland Browns in Week 15, which dropped them out of first place in the AFC North. The good news for the Ravens is that they are still in control of their own destiny, yet they will still be without Lamar Jackson this week. Tyler Huntley is slated to start for Baltimore again.
At one point this season, the Atlanta Falcons were one of the surprises of the NFL. Since starting 4-4, they have lost four of their last five, but they could still win the NFC South.

Falcons vs. Ravens Odds Analysis
The Ravens opened as 6.5-point favorites, and that's where they remain despite Jackson remaining on the shelf. An overwhelming majority of cash and tickets on Pregame.com are backing the Ravens.
The total opened at 41, but it has dropped all the way into the 34.5-to-35 range due to the QB news and weather concerns. Bettors on Pregame.com are split, with a small majority of the cash on the Under but a substantial amount of the tickets on the Under.
Falcons vs. Ravens Pick
Ravens -6.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Without Jackson, the Ravens have had to find ways to win with their defense. That worked for them against the Denver Broncos and the Pittsburgh Steelers, but they had no such luck last week against the Cleveland Browns.
While last week’s result was certainly concerning, it was the Ravens’ third game in a row against a solid defense, and it was their third game in four weeks played on the road. Huntley will have plenty of opportunities this week against a Falcons’ defense that is allowing 23.8 points and 388.2 yards per game.
In Desmond Ridder’s first start, the Falcons’ passing attack was putrid. Ridder didn’t even throw for 100 yards in his first start, and some of his passes were well off the mark. They were able to rush for 231 yards and two touchdowns, but they will not have the same success this week against a defense that is allowing just 85.6 rushing yards per game.
The Ravens aren’t the same team without Jackson, but Huntley is far superior to Ridder and the Ravens as a whole are a much better team than the Falcons. Therefore, don’t buy into the overreaction to Jackson’s absence. Take this under the key number before it moves to 7.5 again.
