Eagles vs. Ravens Prediction, Picks & Best Bets Today: NFL Week 13

In one of the biggest games of the NFL season, the Baltimore Ravens host the Philadelphia Eagles at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore at 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS).

Eagles vs. Ravens betting splits

The Ravens opened as a 2.5-point favorite across most of our best sportsbooks, and we've seen minimal movement ahead of kickoff tonight.

Baltimore is a 3-point favorite at most of our sportsbooks, but just 46% of the money is backing the Ravens to cover while 54% of bettors are taking the Eagles.

The total opened at 50.5 and has since moved up to 51 with 61% of the money on the Over.

Baltimore’s historic rushing attack

Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is coming off the NFL’s most rushing yards in a game (255) since Jamaal Charles in 2009. But Philadelphia is not even the best rushing team on the field in this game, and I'm taking the Under with my Saquon Barkley player prop bets.

Baltimore has out-rushed its opponent by 100-plus yards eight times through its first 12 games. That is tied for the second-most such occasions out-rushing an opponent by that many yards in the first 12 games of a season in NFL history.

Meanwhile, Derrick Henry ran for 140 yards last week, and 80 of those came after contact (his second-most yards after contact this season).

Jackson is due for a bounce-back

With the way Jackson has played this season, it will be difficult to slow him down two games in a row. That has Gabe Henderson backing the QB with his Lamar Jackson player prop bets.

The Chargers held Jackson to 177 passing yards in last week’s Monday Night Football contest, his second-lowest passing yards total of the season.

But Jackson is on pace to be the first player in the Super Bowl era to lead all quarterbacks in passing yards (3,053), passing touchdowns (27), and rushing yards (599) in the same season.

Jackson’s success vs. NFC teams

Jackson is an absurd 23-1 SU in his career as a starter against NFC opponents. It would likely surprise many to learn that the recent New York Giants castoff, Daniel Jones, is the only NFC quarterback to beat Jackson in his career.

I would not put anyone off buying a half-point and betting Baltimore’s spread under a field goal to -2.5. 

But the Ravens are still a play at -3, and I am making the wager at FanDuel, one of the only top sports betting sites offering the standard -110 juice to back the favorites.

Sometimes it is amazing to consider the numbers Jackson is putting up this year, considering Flowers is often considered his only reliable wide receiver.

Flowers has 20 more receptions and 32 more targets than the next-closest Ravens pass catcher. In addition, he has nine games with six or more targets this year, which is tied for fifth-most in the league.

Flowers has stayed under this projected total in four straight games but has at least five catches in three of his last four games against non-divisional opponents. I expect a big volume day for Flowers in what is projected to be the highest-scoring game of the week.

FanDuel is on the low end of this market with +114 odds for Flowers to record six or more receptions. Through DraftKings’ +120 odds, a $10 winning wager would bet $12 in profits.
