Joe Burrow and the 3-4 Cincinnati Bengals take on Saquon Barkley and the 4-2 Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles enter the matchup sitting 10th in the Super Bowl odds.

Two very inconsistent teams meet in Week 8 as I make my best Eagles vs. Bengals player prop bets. After scoring more than 30 points in three consecutive games, the Bengals have now notched 21 or fewer in their last two contests. Meanwhile, the Eagles just scored 28 points after tallying 20 or fewer in three consecutive games.

Despite their record, the Bengals are home favorites in this 1 p.m. ET (CBS) showdown on Sunday. That makes sense considering how good Burrow has looked this season. But can the Bengals’ run defense stop the Eagles’ rushing attack?

Our Mike Spector thinks Philadelphia is well-positioned for a victory in his NFL upset picks.

Eagles vs. Bengals touchdown pick

Ja’Marr Chase anytime touchdown scorer (+105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Chase has scored six touchdowns this season, and he’s registered at least one in four of his last five games. Now he takes on a defense allowing 1.2 passing touchdowns per game.

The price for this prop is -110 or -115 at three of our four best NFL betting sites. That implies a 52.83% chance or greater that Chase will score a touchdown in this game. It's a fair price considering what he’s done in recent weeks and the matchup.

However, FanDuel offering this prop at +105 is an outlier that provides great value. The only time Chase didn’t score a touchdown in the last five weeks was against the New York Giants, a team that ranks in the top 10 in the league in passing touchdowns allowed.

Best odds: +105 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 48.78%

Best Eagles vs. Bengals prop bets

Saquon Barkley Over 75.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Barkley, who's one of the NFL Offensive Player of the Year odds favorites, erupted for 176 yards on just 17 carries last week, marking his third 100-plus-yard rushing game of the season. It was also the fifth time he's surpassed 75 yards this year.

All of our best sportsbooks except for FanDuel are offering Barkley’s rushing total at 80.5. With FanDuel setting the number a full five yards below others and offering a fair price, bettors will want to get in on this Over as soon as possible.

The Bengals' run defense has allowed just 83 rushing yards to opposing running backs in the last two weeks combined. However, they also took on two of the league's worst rushing attacks, with the Giants and Cleveland Browns both ranking in the bottom eight in rushing yards per game.

Best odds: -114 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 53.27%

Jalen Hurts Over 31.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hurts, a long shot in the NFL MVP odds, has run for 31-plus yards three times this season, but he’s only topped this number once in his last four games. However, he’s also never rushed for fewer than 20 yards in a game this campaign, so his floor is high.

The Bengals have allowed an opposing quarterback to rush for at least 44 yards against them in every game over the last three weeks. All but one opposing quarterback has run for at least 29 yards against them this season.

This total is set at 35.5 at four of our best NFL prop betting sites. Considering the Bengals’ struggles against mobile quarterbacks, getting this prop at 31.5 for a better price than what three of the books are offering for 35.5 is one of the best plays of the week as part of your NFL Week 8 predictions.

Best odds: -114 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 53.27%
