The 4-4 Los Angeles Rams close out Week 10 action when they host the reeling 2-6 Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football.

Two teams moving in opposite directions will meet at SoFi Stadium at 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN) for a Monday Night Football showdown.

The Rams have won three games in a row, and our Dolphins vs. Rams early picks and odds show that the public are backing them in this contest.

Meanwhile, the Dolphins have lost six of their last seven games, and they’ve lost two in a row with Tua Tagovailoa. Yet, the early lines at our  the best sports betting sites have them listed as only 2.5-point underdogs. Could they spring the upset?

Be sure to follow our NFL Week 10 predictions throughout the week, as we'll feature a number of other potential upsets as part of our coverage.

By favoring the Rams by 2.5, our best sports betting apps have laid a trap for bettors. The Rams have won three games in a row, each by five or more points. During that streak, they even handed the Minnesota Vikings their first loss. And yet, they’re on upset alert this week.

The Dolphins have lost back-to-back games on last-second field goals. With Tagovailoa under center, they’re a very competitive team, and they’ve racked up more than 370 yards in each of their last two games. The Dolphins’ defense is fourth-best against the pass, and it ranks 13th against the run.

Though the Dolphins have lost back-to-back games, they could have easily won both, and if they had, they may even be favored entering Monday’s game.

Though they have their entire arsenal of offensive weapons available, the Rams are about to face the best pass defense they’ve gone up against in four games. That’s bad news for them, as their last two losses have come against top-13 pass defenses.

Moneyline

  • Rams best odds: | Implied probability: 57.26%
  • Dolphins best odds: | Implied probability: 46.51%

There is no disparity in the Rams moneyline as all of the best sportsbooks have the price listed at -134 or -135.

However, there is a bit of a difference in the Dolphins’ moneyline, as prices range from +110 to +115. The Rams are seeing most of the action early, but the moneyline has moved in favor of the Dolphins, dropping from an opening line of +120.

With the public and the best live betting sites moving in opposite directions, don’t expect much movement from where this line is now.

Spread

  • Rams best odds: -2.5 (-110) via BetMGM
  • Dolphins best odds: +2.5 (-105) via DraftKings

All of the sites with the best sportsbook promos have the spread listed at 2.5 points, with DraftKings offering a slightly better price.

The Rams are getting 64% of wagers, yet the spread hasn’t moved. With this being a home prime-time game for a team that has won three in a row, the spread feels like a trap. And based on early wagering and the lack of movement from the best sportsbooks, I think I’m right.

Watch for this number to move to three points at some point this week. If it never gets there, then that proves that oddsmakers are very confident in the Dolphins no matter what the public thinks. That said, around kickoff, I expect this number to settle back at 2.5.

Over/Under

  • Over best odds: 50.5 (-108) via DraftKings
  • Under best odds: 51 (-105) via FanDuel

The Rams have allowed at least 20 points in all but two of their games this season. They’ve scored at least 20 in three consecutive games. Meanwhile, the Dolphins have scored 27 in back-to-back weeks, and against a defense allowing 24.3 points per game, they should be able to again.

Because of all this, I’m leaning Over, and 55% of bettors agree with me right now. Though that’s the majority, it’s not enough to increase this total.
