With playoff spots clinched and the threat of starters resting, navigating the landmines of Week 18 can be a daunting task.

But our Commanders vs. Cowboys player prop picks tackle the possibility of starters being rested by buying into the coachspeak that Washington wants to prioritize the rhythm of its offense over rest for its stars ahead of wild-card weekend.

The Cowboys host the Commanders (-6.5) at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Sunday at 1 p.m. ET (FOX). Washington comes into the matchup as a long shot in the Super Bowl odds.

Brian Robinson Jr. has endured concerns surrounding his efficiency and ball control in recent weeks. But even with Austin Ekeler returning to practice, we still expect Robinson to be the goal-line running back - Jayden Daniels’ rushing propensity notwithstanding.

Washington OC Kliff Kingsbury that he’s looking for the offense to sharpen up in this final tune-up before the playoffs, so Robinson doesn’t feel like a name who should be outright benched for rest reasons.

As he looks to lock in before the postseason, Robinson will face a Cowboys defense that has allowed more rushing touchdowns than any other team in the league, surrendering 1.5 scores on the ground per game.

His anytime touchdown odds are -115 at DraftKings and BetMGM compared to -123 at Caesars for one of your NFL Week 18 predictions.

Mike Spector is backing Robinson too as part of his NFL Week 18 player prop picks.

Best Commanders vs. Cowboys prop picks

Rico Dowdle Over 61.5 rushing yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: -110 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 52.38%

With reports circulating that Trey Lance could see significant snaps at QB for the Cowboys in Week 18, Dallas player props are scarce to be found across our sites with the best sportsbook promos.

But a number of shops have populated rushing lines for Rico Dowdle with the target sitting around 61.5 or 62.5 yards. Regardless of the extent of Lance’s involvement, we like this line for Dowdle in a matchup during which Dallas should look to attack on the ground.

Only one NFL team allows more rushing production in road games than Washington, which coughs up 150.6 rushing yards per road game. Dowdle has cleared this rushing line in five of his past six games.

Jayden Daniels Over 1.5 passing touchdowns (+100) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +100 via DraftKings | Implied probability: 50.00%

With the Commanders team total at 24.5, we see more than enough room for three-plus offensive touchdowns against a Cowboys defense that has permitted seven offensive touchdowns in the past two weeks.

That leaves an opening for our Robinson touchdown prop and for Jayden Daniels to continue his torrid stretch of passing touchdown success. Daniels, who's nearly a lock in the NFL Offensive Rookie of the year odds, has thrown for multiple passing touchdowns in five straight games heading into Sunday.

This prop is listed at minus money for the Over at all of our best sportsbooks except DraftKings, where you can grab Daniels Over 1.5 passing touchdowns at +100.
