Pretty much the only thing standing in the way of Los Angeles and the playoffs is a win against the Patriots, and even on the road, I'm confident they can pull out a victory by at least five points. 

The Chargers enter this week with the fourth-best record against the spread - covering in 10 of their 15 games this season. They are 4-0-1 this year when favored by at least 4.5 points. 

New England hasn’t been as productive, going 6-8-1 ATS this year and they're 2-3 ATS in their last five games.

Los Angeles needs to regain momentum 

The Chargers are almost certain to see the postseason holding on to a 94% chance of making the playoffs heading into this game. 

However, there is still a small chance their season ends next week. With a loss to New England, they drop to an 85% chance of making the playoffs.

Hunter Henry is the main threat in a New England passing attack that is dead last in the league, averaging only 178.5 passing yards per game this season. 

The former Charger is averaging 44.9 receiving yards per game this year and has had seven outings this season which resulted in him hitting the Over on this prop.

However, I do not see a revenge game in his future this week against a Los Angeles defense that has not allowed a tight end to gain more than 24 receiving yards over its last two games. Even Travis Kelce barely cleared this mark by only 2.5 yards when his Chiefs met the Chargers three weeks ago.
