The 4-2 Baltimore Ravens, one of the Super Bowl odds front-runners, have won four in a row entering tonight's Monday Night Football tilt against the 4-2 Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

  • Both teams have scored at least 30 points in their last two games. Baltimore is ranked first in offensive DVOA, while Tampa Bay is eighth
  • Tonight's game will mark the ninth time Lamar Jackson, who is among the MVP odds favorites, and Baker Mayfield have faced each other
  • Baltimore has the second-best odds to win the AFC based on our conference futures odds list

According to the Monday Night Football odds, Baltimore is the 4 or 4.5-point road favorite, and our Ravens vs. Buccaneers prediction expects the Buccaneers to keep things close.

The line has moved in Baltimore's favor in the lead-up to kickoff, from -3.5 to -4 or -4.5. Only FanDuel is offering -4.5.

The below picks are part of the MNF coverage, including our Ravens vs. Buccaneers player props, Jackson MNF player props, Mayfield MNF player props, Derrick Henry player props, and Ravens vs. Buccaneers anytime touchdown scorer predictions

Best Ravens vs. Buccaneers picks

NFL picks based on the odds from our best NFL betting sites. Odds subject to change.

  • Against the spread pick: Buccaneers +3.5 () vs. Ravens ⭐⭐⭐
  • Player prop: Rashod Bateman Over 35.5 receiving yards (-110 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ravens vs. Buccaneers against the spread prediction: Monday Night Football

Buccaneers to cover the spread: +3.5 (-110) ⭐⭐⭐

Baker Mayfield is having the best year of his career under new offensive coordinator Liam Coen, and he's among the NFL MVP odds favorites. Our Phil Wood also expects him to do plenty of scoring tonight in his Baker Mayfield MNF prop bets.

Mayfield has been a top-two fantasy quarterback in three of six games. He has 18-plus fantasy points in all but one game, 23 or more in four of six, and gets a tasty matchup in this Monday Night Football affair.

Baltimore has allowed a top-two fantasy quarterback in two of the last four weeks, and allowed the second-most fantasy points and fantasy yards to opposing quarterbacks.

Tampa Bay’s offensive efficiency was on true display in a 36-30 Week 5 overtime loss to the Atlanta Falcons. In that game, the Buccaneers averaged 6.5 yards per play, went 6-for-11 on third down, and had 21 first downs despite possessing the ball for fewer than 28 minutes.

The Buccaneers are coming off their second game in franchise history scoring 50 or more points, and they have scored at least 30 in three straight for the first time since 2021.

Slowing down Baltimore’s running game

Baltimore’s plus-878 rushing yard differential is the most through the first six games of a season since 1933.

Derrick Henry has over 130 rushing yards in three of six games this season. However, Tampa Bay’s run defense is tied for 12th in fewest yards allowed per game (113.3) and can use a prolific offense as its best defense to slow down the Ravens' rushing attack.

Fading Lamar Jackson’s NFC trend

Jackson is 22-1 straight up in 23 career games against NFC opponents. But he has had much less success from an ATS perspective, going 11-11-1 ATS in those games.

Mayfield may be 2-6 in his career against Jackson, but many of those meetings were as AFC North rivals when Mayfield was on a less talented Cleveland Browns team. Though Mayfield is 1-5 SU in his career on MNF, while playing for Todd Bowles, he is a profitable 8-8 SU overall as an underdog.

This line is down from an opening number of +5, and there is still value with the underdogs as long as the point spread is north of a field goal. Almost all of our best sports betting sites are aligned with the 3.5-point spread at -110 juice, so I am headed to BetMGM, where my winning $10 wager would pay out $19.09.

Rashod Bateman Over 35.5 receiving yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Jackson has had tremendous passing success of late, posting consecutive 300-yard games for the second time in his career.

Zay Flowers has been the biggest benefactor with two straight 100-yard games, but I expect Bateman will be in for a big day with the defensive-minded Bowles game-planning to limit Flowers.

Bateman has 11 or more fantasy points in three of the last four games. He has back-to-back games with four catches and more than 50 receiving yards, and is going against a Buccaneers defense that ranks 29th against the pass.

Teams are throwing it 65% of the time against the Buccaneers. That should bode well for Bateman’s chances of success, considering he ranks second on the team in targets, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns.

This is a four-star play, as Tampa Bay allows the sixth-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers. I am making my wager at BetMGM, as it is one of the only NFL prop betting sites charging the standard -110 juice to back the Over.

We backed Jackson to have a big game through the air with our Lamar Jackson MNF player prop bets.
