- The Cardinals beat the Rams 41-10 at home in Week 2
As part of our NFL Week 17 predictions, including the Cardinals vs. Rams prediction, this division matchup is set for Saturday at 8 p.m. ET (NFL Network) from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.

Cardinals vs. Rams touchdown prediction
Trey McBride anytime TD scorer (+165) ⭐⭐

Cardinals tight end Trey McBride has 92 catches for 958 yards this season, and zero receiving touchdowns to show for it. McBride already has the most catches of any player in a season without a receiving touchdown, but I expect him to snap that touchdown drought this week.
Pessimists will say McBride only had an 11% first-read target rate last week, which was his lowest in a game he started and finished in his NFL career.
However, McBride caught all six of his targets for 67 yards against the Rams in Week 2, and the tight end saw double-digit targets in four consecutive games prior to last week.
I am taking a flier with a $10 wager on McBride’s anytime touchdown odds at Caesars with the hopes of netting $16.50 in profits. McBride’s odds are as low as +145 at DraftKings in comparison.
Best Cardinals vs. Rams prop picks
Kyler Murray Over 32.5 pass attempts (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: -110 via DraftKings | Implied probability: 52.38%
Terms and conditions apply.
In Arizona’s eight losses this season, Kyler Murray has attempted at least 32 passes six times. Thus, the fact that the Cardinals are seven-point underdogs and that Murray is 2-7-1 ATS in 10 career starts against the Rams bodes well for a lot of passing volume.
James Conner already became the third Cardinal with multiple 1,000-yard rushing seasons. But he was limited at practice on Wednesday, and the team is likely to scale back his workload now that they have been eliminated from playoff contention.
This is a four-star play. From Weeks 10-15, the Rams pass defense allowed the seventh-highest success rate per dropback and ranked in the bottom 10 in EPA per dropback. Look for Murray to chuck it early and often this week.
DraftKings is the only one of our best sports betting sites where you can back the Over of 32.5 at the standard -110 juice, as the implied probability is as high as 54.13% through FanDuel’s -118 odds.
Kyren Williams Over 92.5 rushing yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: -110 via bet365 | Implied probability: 52.38%

If we expect a negative game script to be a big reason why Murray will pass so much in this matchup, the flip side means the Rams are likely to go run-heavy when leading.
Kyren Williams’ 13 rushing touchdowns this season are the most by a Rams player since Todd Gurley in 2018. But with his anytime touchdown odds juiced as high as -245, I am backing the Over on his rushing yard total instead.
From Weeks 10-15, Arizona’s defense allowed the seventh-highest explosive run rate, the ninth-most yards before contact per attempt, and ranked in the bottom-four in missed tackle rate.
The Cardinals followed that up by being gashed for 243 rushing yards and 6.8 yards per rush by the Panthers last week, so Rams head coach Sean McVay will likely attack Arizona in much the same way.
Williams has eclipsed 100 rushing yards in three of the last four weeks, so I would not put anyone off backing his alternate rushing yards total to do so again (DraftKings offers +115 odds for Williams to rush for at least 100 yards).
