Cleveland hasn’t surrendered a rushing touchdown to a quarterback yet this season. However, the Browns have given up the fifth-most scores on the ground in general.

Nix hasn’t scored in over a month, which has seen his anytime touchdown scorer odds skyrocket. As such, this is purely a value play.

There have been many positive takeaways from Nix’s rookie season, but perhaps the most important one is that he takes care of the football. There were concerns following his first two games — in which he threw four interceptions — but he’s played relatively clean football since, with two picks in his last 10 starts.

Nix has been exceptional lately, with 12 total touchdowns to one interception over his last six games. Standing before him is a Cleveland defense that’s failed to generate many turnovers this year. The Browns are tied with the New York Jets for the second-fewest interceptions this year with two. Only the New York Giants (one) have fewer.

These factors contribute to Nix’s juiced odds for this particular prop.
