Robert Saleh didn’t make it long past London as the New York Jets’ loss to the Minnesota Vikings across the pond was the final straw for the embattled head coach.

Our Bills vs. Jets MNF parlay based on our best Monday Night Football odds predicts that New York’s defensive players - who were reportedly stunned by the firing - will be motivated to avenge the coach who had helped form their unit into one of the league’s best.

Saleh had the Jets defense cooking - it was the failing offense that got him fired. Several stats point toward a continuation of those trends in a low-scoring game on Monday night.

  • Jets games are 1-3-1 to the Over, while Bills games have gone 2-3 to that Over
  • New York has allowed just 17 points per game and 13 total points (6.5 PPG) at MetLife Stadium
  • Although the Bills boast a potent scoring offense overall, they've scored just 61 points in three road games (20.3 PPG) compared to 81 points in two home games (40.5 PPG)

Each of our best sportsbooks other than FanDuel lists this total at 41 points. FanDuel’s offering is less valuable for Under bettors at 40.5.

Josh Allen Under 200.5 passing yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Allen’s passing efficiency has been completely different on the road compared to his success at home, which could mean a productive night for the elite New York secondary.

  • The Jets boast the top pass defense in the NFL, allowing just 136.6 passing yards per game
  • Allen has failed to surpass 180 passing yards in three of five games this season
  • All three of those games were Bills road games across which Allen averaged 150.0 passing yards

Gary Pearson is also expecting a quiet day through the air for the Bills passer in his Josh Allen MNF player prop bets.

DraftKings and Caesars list Allen’s passing total at 200.5 yards. At 197.5 yards, Allen’s passing total at FanDuel isn’t as favorable for Under bettors.

Though BetMGM lists a favorable line of 202.5 yards, the overall odds on our parlay lagged behind on that book.

Braelon Allen Over 33.5 rushing yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Although the Jets have struggled to run the ball lately, the Bills should be a get-right matchup in that area.

  • The Bills have allowed 144.0 rushing yards per game (26th in NFL)
  • Allen has matched or exceeded Breece Hall's yards per carry in every game while outgaining Hall on the ground twice in five weeks
  • Despite his better outputs, Allen’s rushing prop is in the low-30s while Hall’s rushing prop sits at 58.5

Phil Wood is also expecting a big day on the ground for Hall in his Bills vs. Jets MNF prop bets, though I like the value on his more efficient teammate.

Adding a player prop Over into a parlay that features an Under bet on the game total is a contrarian move that helps to juice up our overall parlay odds to +425.
