We're diving into Bill Belichick's next team odds from one of our best sports betting apps after the New England Patriots parted ways with their legendary coach, though he now seems to be running out of options with available openings closing fast.

It once didn't seem fathomable that Bill Belichick could be a head coach anywhere else but in New England, where he's won six Super Bowls while appearing in nine and tallied an incredible 17 division titles.

But those glory days predictably faded fast for the Patriots after the departure of Tom Brady. The Pats still made the playoffs once in 2021 after the future Hall of Fame quarterback left. But they've missed the postseason during three of the past four campaigns, and the team hit rock bottom in 2023 with a 3-14 record.

It wasn't long ago that Belichick was presumed to be the next head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, with the Dirty Birds trading as low as -400 to be Belichick's next employer. However, Atlanta opted for a reunion with Raheem Morris on Thursday, further dwindling Belichick's potential options should he truly want to coach next season.

Let's dive in with our Bill Belichick next team odds from one of our NFL betting sites.

Bill Belichick's next team prediction

Not the head coach of an NFL team

It's pretty telling that of the three actual teams listed in the table above who could potentially hire Belichick as their head coach, two of them don't have an opening following the 2023-24 NFL regular season.

It also doesn't seem likely that the Washington Commanders would fire Ron Rivera only to turn to an older, more defensive-minded head coach.

It's possible that Belichick lands some sort of football operations or advisor role, but his recent track record through the NFL draft doesn't make that seem too promising either.

This may be a market that gets revisited following the 2024-25 season, if Belichick still wants to pursue Don Shula's record of 347 NFL wins.
