James Cook anytime touchdown scorer ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: -145 via Caesars | Implied probability: 59.18%

James Cook has multiple touchdowns in back-to-back games and at least one score in eight of the last 10. That makes his 59.18% implied probability a steal for him to find the end zone against a Jets team he is facing for the first time this season.

The pessimism surrounding Cook is that his snap rate and rush share are at 43% since the Week 12 bye, and his route rate is down to 36%.

However, the Jets have allowed at least one rushing score in nine of the last 10 games, and Buffalo ran for 149 yards against them in the first meeting, even with its best running back injured.

Jordan Addison Over 52.5 receiving yards ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: -110 via bet365 | Implied probability: 52.38%

Since the Week 6 bye, Jordan Addison has averaged 4.7 receptions and 66.3 receiving yards per game while scoring seven touchdowns in that 10-game span.

Addison has exceeded this projected total in five of the last six games and now gets a tasty matchup against a Packers defense that ranks 31st of 32 teams in defensive dropback SR.

Green Bay may be getting its best cornerback, Jaire Alexander, back from injury after he missed the last seven games. However, he is more likely to be covering Justin Jefferson if he plays, and he could also be on a snap count after missing that much time.

The Over is juiced to -115 at BetMGM, so I am taking advantage of the best price at bet365, where a $10 winning wager would pay out $19.09.

NFL game predictions for Week 17

Broncos +3.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: -120 via DraftKings | Implied probability: 54.55%

The Bengals have won three straight games for the first time this season, primarily because of an offense that has averaged 29.3 points per game during that stretch. But the Broncos defense should be up to the task, which is one of several reasons I am backing them.

Bo Nix has been kind to his backers in his rookie year, as he is the most profitable ATS quarterback this season with 11 covers in 15 games, including a 6-2 ATS road record.

Denver has also been outstanding on extended rest, which it has after playing on Thursday last week. The Broncos have won and covered all three games on extended rest.

If this game is as close as it projects to be, that favors Denver even more, as Cincinnati has won just two of its nine one-score games outright this season.

One can get plus-money odds at several best sportsbooks backing Denver at +3, but I am willing to pay up slightly for DraftKings’ -120 odds to get three points and the hook.

Colts-Giants Under 40.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: -110 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 52.38%

Early weather forecasts are calling for steady rain in East Rutherford for the Colts-Giants matchup, which means both offenses should rely on their running games more than usual.

Indianapolis ran for 335 yards last week, breaking a franchise record that had stood since 1956. Meanwhile, the Giants mustered only 234 total yards last week but held Atlanta to 3.3 yards per rush on 38 attempts.

Do not be fooled by New York allowing 34 points in last week’s loss, as 14 came directly from Drew Lock pick-sixes. With better ball security, we should see this game stay under the projected total.
