The Cincinnati Bengals will look to keep their slim playoff hopes alive against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. Mike Spector's Bengals vs. Cowboys prediction calls for a close game.

The latest Monday Night Football odds have the Bengals favored by 5.5 points, despite Monday night’s 8:15 p.m. ET (ABC/ESPN) game being played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Does this mean that the best Bengals vs. Cowboys MNF prop bets, feature Bengals players hitting their Overs against a weak defense?

But while the Cowboys have struggled defensively, the Bengals have been even worse. They rank 31st in scoring defense, and they’re allowing the sixth-most yards per game this year. Can Cooper Rush and company take advantage of the matchup?

The Cowboys rank 31st in rushing yards allowed per game, giving up 147.6 per contest. The Bengals are favored for MNF and Brown should see more opportunities after carrying the ball 13 or fewer times in two of his last three games.

Despite having only 152 carries this season, Brown has run for at least 70 yards in four games, and he’s topped 80 three times. He’s averaging 4.5 yards per carry, a number that is only likely to go up against a defense allowing 4.9 yards per carry.

The total for this prop ranges from 73.5 to 75.5 across our NFL prop betting sites. Though bet365 is offering the best price of -110 for Over 75.5, I’ll take two fewer yards for a slightly worse price of -114, just in case the Bengals’ defense lets them down again, and Brown doesn’t get as many attempts as I’m expecting.

Our Rod Villagomez is also backing Brown in his first touchdown scorer predictions for Monday Night Football.

Rush threw for just 195 yards on Thanksgiving against the New York Giants. However, in the two games before that, he threw for at least 247 yards, and he threw for 354 against the Houston Texans.

Though Rush is far from consistent, he can take advantage of solid matchups, which is exactly what he’ll get in Monday’s game. The Bengals allow 241.0 passing yards per game, ranking 27th in the NFL. They’re allowing a whopping 326.7 per contest over their last three.

The final note working in Rush’s favor is that his team is likely to be playing from behind for most of this game, so they’ll have to abandon the run. Four of the five best NFL betting sites have this total listed at 236.5. Though bet365 is offering the best price at -110, FanDuel’s price of -113 is worth it for six extra yards.

Our Brenden Schaeffer is also backing Rush in his Bengals vs. Cowboys parlay picks.

Ja’Marr Chase 2+ touchdowns ⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +450 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 18.18%

Chase has caught a touchdown in three consecutive games, and he’s caught multiple in two of his last three. He has caught at least two touchdown passes in four games, and he’s accounted for 13 of Burrow’s 30 touchdown passes this season.

Generally, teams score by running into the end zone against the Cowboys. The Cowboys are allowing 1.8 rushing touchdowns per game compared to just 1.4 passing touchdowns. But the Bengals are averaging 2.5 passing touchdowns per contest, and in what is sure to be another high-scoring affair, I expect them to play to their strengths.

No one on the Cowboys can cover Chase, so for this price, this is absolutely worth the risk.

How good is the price at FanDuel? Caesars has the price set at +330, which implies a nearly 25% probability that Chase will score multiple touchdowns in this game.

I examined this pick further in my Ja'Marr Chase MNF player prop bets. And elsewhere, our Andrew Brennan likes another Bengals receiver to score in his anytime touchdown scorer predictions for MNF.
