The final week of the NFL season is tricky to navigate. Of course, you can target players with added financial motivation via contract incentives. But most of our best sports betting sites know about those players and are pricing them accordingly, so we'll instead continue to trust the numbers for one last ride.

My anytime touchdown scorer predictions have proven to be quite profitable this year, which is funny because I know many in the industry see these as -EV bets.

However, by using trusted projections and scouring our best sports betting apps for potential value each week, we've managed to find plenty of great bets throughout the campaign.

We'll look at four more in Week 18, with two from the early 1 p.m. ET window, one more from the afternoon games, and a final TD based on the Sunday Night Football odds.

Let's dive in as part of our NFL Week 18 predictions.

Giants vs. Eagles anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Kenneth Gainwell, Eagles, RB ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Let's start with the pros:

  • We know the Philadelphia Eagles plan to rest their key starters in Week 18, including Saquon Barkley
  • Kenneth Gainwell's projections reflect that, as he's expected to be the lead back while being forecasted for 14.13 carries, 60.69 rushing yards, 0.57 touchdowns

Now, the cons:

  • Who knows how long Gainwell himself will play
  • Additionally, with Tanner McKee potentially starting under center amid a bunch of reserves, the Eagles could struggle to move the ball down the field

Overall, I think the risks with this bet are baked into the +150 odds, and I'm happy to trust Gainwell's projections in a game the New York Giants should certainly be trying to lose.

Panthers vs. Falcons anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Drake London, Falcons, WR ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Kirk Cousins was terrible as the Atlanta Falcons' quarterback. Unfortunately, Michael Penix Jr. isn't much better. However, that didn't stop Drake London from finishing as the WR9 in half PPR fantasy football formats this season.

London turned 13 targets into seven catches and 106 yards last week against the Washington Commanders.

He's found the end zone only once in his previous seven games, but now London faces a Carolina Panthers secondary that just allowed four receiving touchdowns to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week. The unit also gave up three touchdowns to the Dallas Cowboys two games prior.

With the Falcons needing to win in Week 18, expect them to turn to their best players, so hopefully we see very few targets going to Kyle Pitts. That means London and Bijan Robinson should be very busy on Sunday afternoon.

49ers vs. Cardinals anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Isaac Guerendo, 49ers, RB ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +145 via DraftKings | Implied probability: 40.82%

Another tough one here, as I'm not sure anyone really knows exactly what the San Francisco 49ers will do in this game.

With the "Passtronaut" Josh Dobbs expected to start for the 49ers, I hold at least some hope that San Francisco will be able to move the ball better than if Brandon Allen was starting. Therefore, we have a reason to be optimistic about Isaac Guerendo.

Additionally, 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel still wasn't practicing on Thursday. Samuel does help the team's offense overall, but he also takes red-zone running and short pass opportunities away from Guerendo.

The projections certainly expect Guerendo to receive a full workload. He's forecasted for 17.07 carries, 77.51 rushing yards, and 0.59 touchdowns. Therefore, I love these +145 odds for him to score, which carry an implied probability of just more than 40%.

Anytime touchdown scorer predictions for Sunday Night Football

Vikings vs. Lions anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Jordan Addison, Vikings, WR ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +128 via Caesars | Implied probability: 43.86%

I bet Jordan Addison to score last week at slightly better +140 odds. However, that was in a much trickier matchup against a stingy Green Bay Packers secondary that ranked sixth in half PPR fantasy points allowed to wide receivers this year. Meanwhile, the Lions ranked 31st entering Week 17.

Addison managed only three catches on four targets in the prior meeting between these teams. However, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold has realized just how good his No. 2 wideout is and has been peppering him with targets since Week 10.

The USC product hauled in six of eight targets last week, scoring his ninth touchdown of the season. That's only one fewer than teammate Justin Jefferson's 10.

Both Vikings receivers are getting very strong TD projections this week (Jefferson at 0.68 and Addison at 0.59). But Minnesota's alpha is trading at drastically shorter odds to score. There's often value to be found when betting on a team's talented No. 2 receiver to score - we've seen that with Tee Higgins and Davante Adams this year, among others - and that's the case once again in this contest.
