Anytime touchdown scorer picks Week 17: Saturday
Our NFL player prop odds tool can help you find the latest odds among the legal sportsbooks in your region on each of these picks.
Chargers vs. Patriots anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Quentin Johnston, LAC, WR ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: | Implied probability: 28.17%
Terms and conditions apply.
Johnston continues to regularly rank second or third among Chargers receivers in snaps played. He's played at least 65% of the snaps in each of his last eight games, including 68% last week.
Though he caught just three of six targets for 18 yards last week, he scored in each of his two previous games. He sits at eight touchdowns during his breakout sophomore season. The Patriots' secondary remains riddled with injuries, including safety Kyle Dugger and cornerback Marcus Jones.
Our Phil Wood is also backing Johnston to return to the end zone with his Chargers vs. Patriots player prop picks.
DraftKings' +255 odds would return a profit of $25.50 on a winning $10 bet.
Broncos vs. Bengals anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Devaughn Vele, DEN, WR ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: | Implied probability: 22.73%
New customers only. Deposit min. $5. Place first bet of $5+ and win $250 in Bonus Bets (within 72 hours).
FanDuel's +340 odds would return an extra $6.50 in profit on a winning $10 bet compared to the +275 odds from Draftings. That difference in the odds is enough on its own to warrant backing Vele.
It's a bonus that he also draws one of the best matchups for receivers in a must-win game for both the Broncos and Bengals.
Vele ranked second behind Courtland Sutton with 56% of the snaps played last week. The seventh-round rookie caught two of three targets for 21 yards, and he scored his second touchdown of the season.
This is one of the most important head-to-head matchups of Week 17 with both teams fighting for a wild-card seed in the AFC. I expect Vele's recent score to keep him in the trust of his coaches and rookie QB Bo Nix against a Bengals defense with 14 touchdowns allowed to receivers.
Cardinals vs. Rams anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Marvin Harrison Jr., ARI, WR ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: | Implied probability: 32.79%
New users only. Must use promo code. Min. $10 deposit. Max. additional winnings $2.5K per token. Tokens expire in 14 days. Void where prohibited. .
Harrison has gone three weeks without a touchdown catch, but he was targeted 22 times over those three games. He caught 10 for 120 yards and has also played at least 81% of the snaps in each of the Cardinals' last five games.
The Rams have given up 18 touchdowns and 8.33 yards per target to receivers this season. Harrison scored two touchdowns when he carved up the defense for 130 yards on four catches in his second NFL game in Week 2.
The Cardinals have been eliminated from postseason contention, but they'll surely relish the chance to play spoiler against the Rams at SoFi Stadium.
Our Gary Pearson expects the Rams to cover a large spread with his Cardinals vs. Rams prediction, but a pass-heavy game script for the Cardinals would help our touchdown prediction for Harrison.
Anytime touchdown scorer picks Week 17: Sunday
Jets vs. Bills anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Keon Coleman, BUF, WR ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: +330 via Caesars | Implied probability: 23.26%
Coleman returned from a four-game absence to play 63% of the snaps in Week 15, and he played 66% of the snaps last week. Though he was targeted just twice in each of his last three games - and caught just one pass each time - he was targeted seven times in back-to-back contests to end October.
Coleman has three touchdowns on the season, and the Bills will want to get him back up to full speed before the postseason begins.
Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner (hamstring) hasn't practiced this week. His absence should open things up for Josh Allen as he looks to increase his NFL MVP odds lead over Lamar Jackson.
Make sure to bet this pick at Caesars. DraftKings offers odds of just +210 for $12 less in profit on a winning $10 bet.
