NFL Against the Spread Picks, Predictions for Week 12: Titans Get Revenge Against Cincy

The Tennessee Titans hosts the Cincinnati Bengals for the first time since last year’s AFC Divisional Round, when Cincinnati upset the top-seeded Titans. Who will cover the spread? Read on for our best Week 12 NFL ATS picks.
Week 12 starts Thursday with three Thanksgiving Day matchups, but the main course awaits Sunday with a dozen more games. We’ve got plays on three of those contests in our top against the spread Week 12 NFL picks, including a playoff rematch between the Bengals and Titans (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook, BetMGM and FanDuel Sportsbook).

Best Against the Spread Week 12 NFL Picks
Jets -4.5 (-110)
Jets head coach Robert Saleh benched starting quarterback Zach Wilson, replacing him with backup Mike White against the Bears. Wilson led New York to just three points and 103 total yards last week against the New England Patriots. Meanwhile, Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields injured his non-throwing shoulder late in the Bears’ loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
Fields' injury affects the Bears much more than Wilson’s benching does. Fields ran the ball 14 times in the first half alone last week and recorded double-digit carries in five of his last six games, helping Chicago score 29-plus in four of its last five. Despite his injury, Fields practiced Wednesday and should play Sunday. Unfortunately for the Bears, Fields probably can’t run the ball as much this time.
However, the Jets’ biggest advantage is defense. New York allowed 10 points or less in three of its last five, while the Bears haven’t held an opponent under 27 since dealing away defensive end Robert Quinn and linebacker Roquan Smith a month ago.
Seahawks -3.5 (-110)
Seattle had a week off to lick its wounds after seeing a four-game winning streak end with a 21-16 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in London. Playing halfway across the world may have been a factor as the Seahawks started slowly, managing just three first downs and zero points in the first half before recording 16 of both in the second.
This looks like a cheap price to favor the NFC West leaders to get back on track against the Las Vegas Raiders, whose only victories came over the woeful Broncos and Texans. Vegas was seconds away from falling to 2-8 in Denver, needing a late field goal to tie it up before winning in OT. The Raiders’ offense isn’t the same without injured tight end Darren Waller and wideout Hunter Renfrow, failing to score more than 20 points in regulation in four straight games.
Titans +1.5 (-105)
There’s nothing flashy about the Titans, but they get the job done. Tennessee’s 27-17 win over the Green Bay Packers was its seventh in eight games after an 0-2 start, and the Titans get a few extra days to prepare since that victory was on Thursday Night Football.
Cincinnati’s offense has been on a roll, scoring 89 points in its last two games and 30-plus in four of its last five, but this Tennessee defense is the best unit the Bengals face since Week 2. The Bengals remain without game-breaking receiver Ja’Marr Chase, and the Titans shouldn’t have trouble bottling up running back Joe Mixon and Cincy’s mediocre rushing attack. Defensively, Cincinnati allowed 30 points in its last road matchup.
It's also a huge revenge spot for the Titans, who were the AFC's top seed a year ago before Cincinnati upset them 19-16 in the Divisional Round. I love Tennessee to win this one straight up and cover the spread for a ninth straight time, but teasing the Titans up to +7.5 is also a great option in what should be a low-scoring affair.
