The Huskies opened as a 6.5-point favorite at our best sports betting apps after defeating the Alabama Crimson Tide in the Final Four. While the line hasn't shifted much, there isn't much consensus at our best books.
For those looking to back Purdue, BetMGM is offering the Boilermakers +7.5 at -120 odds. Those odds imply a 54.55% probability Purdue covers the spread, according to our odds calculator. However, more confident Purdue bettors may gravitate to the +6.5 line at bet365 with the -105 odds paying out $19.52 on a $10 wager if the Boilermakers cover. Alternatively, BetMGM has Purdue +250 by the moneyline for those who believe Purdue can pull off the upset - that would lead to a $25 profit on a $10 bet if the Boilermakers win.
As for UConn bettors, FanDuel has the smallest spread for the Huskies to cover at -6.5 (-114). But a $10 bet on those odds would lead to only a $8.77 profit, so if you're truly confident UConn can cover its 12th straight NCAA Tournament game, the line at BetMGM may be more appealing. While the Huskies would need to beat Purdue by at least eight points to cover it, the +100 even-money odds pay out $10 on a $10 bet. It gets dicey with the moneyline for UConn, with FanDuel's -285 odds implying a 74.02% probability the Huskies win, but paying out just $13.51 on a $10 wager.
There's been plenty of movement on the Over/Under for this one with it opening as high as 146.5 at our best live betting sites. It's since dropped to as low as 143.5 at DraftKings, FanDuel, and Caesars. For Over bettors, FanDuel and Caesars both have the lowest total and the best odds (-110). Those odds imply a 52.38% probability the Over hits. And for Under bettors, BetMGM is the way to go with Over/Under at 144.5 and the odds (-105) longer than what bet365 is offering (-110). The -105 odds at BetMGM would result in a $9.52 profit if the Under hits.

Purdue vs. UConn injury info and news
A huge reason both of these teams have made it to the men's national championship in dominant fashion is because both programs have remained relatively healthy throughout the season. Purdue has had its main 10-man rotation available for the entirety of the NCAA Tournament and that will continue into the championship game.
Meanwhile, UConn is as healthy as it gets with every player available. The Huskies have been so unstoppable throughout the NCAA Tournament that all 14 players on its roster have touched the court over its last two games in the Elite Eight and Final Four.
While there's no injuries to worry about in this one, the headlines are focused on the two big men ready to do battle in the paint. Zach Edey and Donovan Clingan may combined to be the two largest players to ever lead their team's to the NCAA Tournament. The 7-foot-4, 300-pound Edey knows it's a unique matchup against the 7-foot-2, 280-pound Clingan.
"He does a lot of the things that don't get appreciated about big men. Like he has good hands, he has (a good motor), like he plays hard," Edey said of Clingan on Sunday. "He's physical. Some stuff that a lot of people don't notice about big men, he's pretty good at."
The feeling was mutual with Clingan commenting on having to deal with the reigning Wooden Award winner.
"I'm real excited," he said. "You play at this level to play big-time matchups, big-time games. I have a lot of respect for Zach Edey. He's a great player."
With the Huskies being 11-0 ATS over the last two NCAA Tournaments, head coach Dan Hurley appears confident heading into the championship, despite the challenge Edey could provide his defense.
"The feeling just with the group is it's body blows, it's body blows, it's continue to guard, continue to rebound, execute our offense," Hurley said. "Eventually there will be a breaking point opportunity that will present itself, especially in this tournament. For us, we have just played so well."
