Purdue has come a long way since losing in the first round as a No. 1 seed last season, and March Madness MVP odds favorite Zach Edey has been an unstoppable force this year, including a career-high 40 points to go along with 16 rebounds in the Boilermakers' Elite Eight win over No. 2 Tennessee.

No. 11 seed NC State etched its names in the record books with a 76-64 victory over No. 4 seed Duke in the Elite Eight. The Wolfpack became the sixth 11-seed to reach the Final Four by knocking off their ACC and in-state rival. NC State had a rough end to the season, but won five games in five days to capture the ACC title and has carried that momentum forward through the first four rounds of the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

It's been a chaotic NCAA Tournament run for No. 4 seed Alabama, but the Crimson Tide are in the Final Four for the first time in five seasons under head coach Nate Oats. Alabama has already knocked off a No. 1 seed in North Carolina in the Sweet 16, sneaking out an 89-87 victory on Thursday.

The Tide play fast and sacrifice defense for the sake of scoring - ranking eighth in adjusted tempo and fourth in adjusted offensive efficiency, but just 101st in adjusted defensive efficiency.

The top-seeded Huskies appear to be even better this year than last year's squad that won the national championship. Donovan Clingan, who's right with Edey in the March Madness MVP race,  is a major reason UConn opened as a double-digit favorite.

UConn hasn't really been challenged yet, with victories by 39, 17, 30, and 25 points through the first four rounds of the tournament.
