College basketball's most exciting player takes on the best team in college hoops in Las Vegas. What could be better than that?

Cooper Flagg, who leads the Wooden Award odds, and No. 11 Duke (4-1) will face No. 1 Kansas (5-0) inside the T-Mobile Arena at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday. The Blue Devils are coming off a 14-point road win over Arizona and are 3-point favorites via our best sportsbooks.

Meanwhile, the Jayhawks have defeated Michigan State and North Carolina during their perfect start. Kansas sits third in the March Madness odds, just ahead of Duke.

Let's dive into our Duke vs. Kansas prediction to accompany Tuesday’s college basketball best bets.

Duke delivered a statement on Friday with its 69-55 road win over Arizona. The Blue Devils might be the most talented team in the country, and it’s only a matter of time before they earn the No. 1 ranking.

Knocking off the top-ranked team in a marquee neutral-site contest would be a good start. Most public models project a victory for Duke, with KenPom forecasting a 75-70 win on Tuesday.

That’s likely why the spread touched as high as 3.5 for this game at our best sports betting sites, and there's some value in the Blue Devils now that it’s dropped back down. The Jayhawks might need to shake off some rust after their week-long break in a matchup that's unfavorable to them due to Duke’s size advantage.

Because BetMGM charges -115 for the 2.5-point spread, the better value is on the -105 odds to lay -3 at Caesars. The 2.5-point spread becomes more valuable at anything -106 or worse.

Duke is quite literally a tall task for Kansas. The Blue Devils rank No. 1 in the country in average height. They don’t trot out a starter below 6-foot-6.

As a result, I expect Bill Self to turn back the clock and use more two-big lineups. That could mean more minutes for Flory Bidunga alongside Hunter Dickinson. To maximize that lineup, Self needs to surround the two posts with multiple shooters.

That could lead to Adams being the odd man out in Tuesday’s marquee matchup. He’s already not a huge scorer while averaging 8.6 points per game this season. Adams has only cleared this scoring prop twice.

Given all the circumstances, I’ll bet against Adams reaching double figures against Duke at -105 or better.
