Best Thunder vs. Nuggets prop predictions

Nikola Jokic prop bet: Over 12.5 rebounds ⭐⭐⭐⭐

With Hartenstein and backup center Jaylin Williams ruled out, Jokic should own the paint against Chet Holmgren.

The Thunder allowed the fifth-most rebounds per game (15.47) to centers last season and Jokic averaged 12.4 rebounds per game at home. Oklahoma City’s offense might sputter initially with Caruso entering the starting lineup, which would lead to more rebounding opportunities.

The MVP runner-up last season was consistently careful with the basketball down the stretch, averaging 2.2 turnovers per game after the All-Star break despite his 32.8% usage rate and 29.8% assist rate.

The Nuggets moved on from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who might have been the primary defender on SGA. Instead, he’ll get to operate against Christian Braun and Russell Westbrook at times. 

Jamal Murray prop bet: Under 26.5 points + assists ⭐⭐⭐

Murray struggled towards the end of last season and had a very tough performance this summer in the Olympics for Canada.

Now he opens the year against one of the best defensive backcourts in the NBA, with Caruso added to the mix to hound Murray. Caruso helped hold Murray below this prop in each of his last three games against Chicago.

Murray averaged 14.8 points per game on 43% field goal shooting against the Thunder last season.
