The Orlando Magic visit the New York Knicks tonight with the East Group A title on the line. Can the Magic extend their six-game winning streak? Or will the Knicks come away with a third straight victory?

Our Magic vs. Knicks player props expect Jalen Brunson to be heavily involved as a facilitator, and Karl-Anthony Towns to fall short of his combo prop line.

We’re also expecting Franz Wagner to show up in a significant way when the Magic and Knicks tip off at 7:30 p.m. ET (TNT) from Madison Square Garden in New York.

The Knicks enter leading the NBA Cup odds, and they sit third in the NBA championship odds.

Brunson is enjoying his most productive season as a facilitator while handing out a career-best 7.9 assists per game. He ranks 10th in the Association in that category, and the guard simply needs to be average tonight to cash this prop.

The long shot in the NBA MVP odds has hit the Over on this line in 11 of 20 games this season, good for 55% of his appearances. Based on that frequency, we would expect these odds to be set at -120, so we’re getting appealing value at plus money here.

New York’s star has dished out 7.6 dimes on the road and 8.3 at home. He’s hit the Over in five of eight games at Madison Square Garden, and we can expect him to do it again tonight.

Franz Wagner Over 11.5 rebounds + assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wagner has been tremendous this season while averaging career-highs in rebounds (5.7) and assists (5.9). That’s good for 11.6 rebounds + assists per outing, and like Brunson, he’ll just need to be average to cash this prop tonight.

The forward is averaging 12.6 rebounds + assists over 16 games without Paolo Banchero, and he’s posted 13.5 across his last 11 contests. Wagner has also posted 13.8 rebounds + assists and hit the Over six times across his last seven road matchups.

Overall this season Wagner has cashed the Over in eight of 13 road games, and Orlando will need him to be at his best if it hopes to complete the upset tonight. We’re expecting that to happen, and we’ll take the Over.

Karl-Anthony Towns Under 35.5 points + rebounds ⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: -110 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 52.38%

Taking the Under is never a sexy pick, but tonight’s matchup at MSG is likely going to be an ugly affair.

Orlando and its top-rated defense will look to slow down the pace and muddy up matters for a New York offense that's been humming in 2024-25.

Towns hit the Over on this prop in nine of his first 12 games, but he’s done it in just three of his last seven. KAT has hit the Under in two straight, and we expect him to extend that streak tonight.

Orlando has allowed the fewest points per game this season, including the second-fewest in the paint. The Magic have also given up the fourth-fewest rebounds, making this a less-than-ideal matchup for Towns.
