NBA fans get the gift of watching the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors square off at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday in Chase Center.

This could be the final holiday matchup between LeBron James and Stephen Curry. The head-to-head showdown has gone 2-1 in favor of James. LeBron needs one more win to pass Dwyane Wade as the player with the most victories on Christmas Day.

Lakers moneyline ⭐⭐⭐

As mentioned in my Lakers vs. Warriors prediction, I don’t believe the best sports betting sites weigh recent form as much as they should in this matchup. 

Golden State has cooled off since its hot start, ranking 25th in net rating over the last month. The Warriors are 3-10 over that span.

The Lakers have won four of their past six games. During that stretch, they have ranked third in defensive rating.

This game should be more of a toss-up, providing value on the underdogs.

LeBron James Over 7.5 assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐

James ranks fourth in the league with an average of nine assists per game this year. He’s averaging 8.6 assists per contest in December, including 11 dimes in a triple-double against the Detroit Pistons on Monday.

The best sports betting apps have set James’ assist total at 8.5, so I like his chances of recording eight dimes on Christmas Day.

Anthony Davis Over 19.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Los Angeles center Anthony Davis has finished below 20 points in back-to-back games, causing his scoring average to drop to 26.6 points per contest. He ranks seventh in the league in scoring this season.

I expect a bounce-back showing from Davis, who has scored at least 20 points in 21 of his 28 games this year. He poured in 40 against the Boston Celtics last Christmas.
