Best Celtics vs. Cavaliers prop predictions

Donovan Mitchell Over 25.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: -110 via DraftKings | Implied probability: 52.38%

Mitchell has been a higher scorer on the road than at home this season, but he’s picked it up at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse as of late, and we’re taking the Over on his scoring prop tonight. Mitchell averaged 31 points against the Celtics last season and dropped 35 against them when the teams met on Nov. 19.

Mitchell has hit the Over on this line in two of his last three games and four of his last six overall. He’s done so in two straight and three of his last four in Cleveland.

Across his last eight games, Mitchell has averaged 26.1 points. He’s fresh off a 12-point effort on 5-of-23 shooting, and the Cavs have dropped two straight. Mitchell should be highly motivated for this elite, Eastern Conference showdown at home with his team in need of a victory.

Jayson Tatum Over 43.5 points + rebounds + assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Tatum has been a driving force behind Boston’s seven-game win streak, averaging 44.1 PRAs in that span. That includes 52 against the Cavs in the Celtics’ narrow victory two weeks ago

Tatum is fresh off a 54 PRA performance against the Chicago Bulls in his last game out, and we’re backing him to carry the momentum into tonight’s matchup with Cleveland.

Tatum has averaged 40.6 PRAs at home compared to 45.3 on the road this season. He’s hit the Over on this line in six of 10 road games, going for 43 and 42 in two other appearances outside of TD Garden. 

Darius Garland Over 19.5 points ⭐⭐⭐
