Christopher Nolan is a massive favorite in the 2024 Oscars Best Director odds among our best sportsbooks following his many wins at the precursor events.

Best Director predictions 2024

Christopher Nolan (-3000 via BetMGM)

Nolan was already an expensive -350 favorite to win Best Director before the Golden Globes started. He has since won Best Director at the Golden Globes and Critics Choice, and though the Screen Actors Guild Awards doesn't present anything to a specific director, "Oppenheimer" won the night's biggest prize by taking home Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

Nolan rightly deserves the win after both being mostly ignored by the Academy for years and managing to get fans excited to go to the movie theatre this past summer for a three-and-a-half-hour biopic.
