TGL Odds 2025: Team Rosters, Schedule, & How it Works

Our best golf betting sites were quick to release futures odds for the TGL's first season. Los Angeles Golf Cub (+300) and New York Golf Club (+350) are the favorites by the 2025 TGL odds from bet365 before the first ball is struck.
What is the TGL?
The TGL is a new tech-infused golf league beginning in January 2025. Six teams of four represent six cities in the U.S., and those squadds play a two-hour weekly competition on prime time out of SoFi Center on the campus of Palm Beach State College. Matches will air on ESPN and ESPN+.
Three members of each team will compete every week in a two-hour match played over 15 custom-designed holes.
Format & scoring
Weekly matches will be played as triples (3-on-3 match play) of alternate shot (nine holes), as well as one-on-one singles matches (six holes). Both formats follow modern match play scoring, with each hole worth one point. The team with the most points at the end of the night wins the match.
A match win in regulation as well as a win in overtime is worth two points. An overtime loss is worth one point, while a regulation loss is worth nothing, similar to the NHL.
Postseason format
The top four teams following the regular season advance to the playoffs. Those teams will square off in the single-elimination semifinals - Team 1 vs. Team 4 and Team 2 vs. Team 3. The two winning teams advance to the championship series, which will be played as a best of three to crown a champion.

Los Angeles GC, consisting of Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala, Justin Rose, and Tommy Fleetwood, is the early favorite by the 2025 TGL odds. A winning $10 bet at +300 odds would return a profit of $30, with the odds representing an implied win probability of 25%.
