Things fell Oregon’s way last week with a couple of teams near the top of the College Football Playoff rankings suffering losses. But the Ducks (8-1) have a lot of work to do to climb the ladder into the top four. Next up is No. 25 Washington (7-2) this weekend in Eugene.

Washington vs. Oregon Odds Analysis
Oregon opened as a 12.5-point home favorite, and that number jumped to -13.5 at DraftKings Sportsbook, FanDuel, and BetMGM. Around 91% of the money wagered on the spread has gone to Oregon.
The total opened at 69 and has increased rapidly to 72.5 (-110) across the board.
Washington vs. Oregon Picks
Washington vs. Oregon ATS Pick
Oregon -13.5 (-108) ★★★
The Oregon offense has been on a warpath for much of the season, looking for style points to cover up the one significant blemish on its schedule: that 49-3 loss to Georgia to open the year.
Washington’s most comparable challenge to the one it will face this Saturday in Autzen Stadium was a road contest at UCLA in late September. The Huskies fell 40-32 before losing by a touchdown to Arizona State the following week.
Those close losses were the only two the Huskies have had all year, but their performance has fallen short of expectations in road games.
Washington is 0-3 against the spread on the road this season. Meanwhile, Oregon is 4-0 ATS as a home favorite.
Despite the large number moving further toward the Ducks, this has the feeling of another style-points win for an Oregon team looking to maintain a semblance of consideration in the CFP rankings.
Washington vs. Oregon O/U Pick
Over 72.5 (-110) ★★★★
This is a lofty total, one of the highest across Week 11 in college football. But there’s a reason for it: these two teams get buckets.
Even with that measly field-goal scoring output against Georgia to open the season, Oregon ranks ninth in FBS in scoring average at 39.8 points per game. Removing that opening clunker, the Ducks have averaged 48.1 points per game across their other eight contests, without a single performance below 41 points.
This weekend, Oregon’s 44th-ranked defensive efficiency gets a Washington offense that averages 36.9 points per game. It will be Oregon’s third time facing a ranked opponent; the others resulted in 49- and 30-point outputs for their opponents.
Additionally, the Ducks’ defense is the better unit in this game, as Washington’s defensive efficiency falls outside the top 75 in FBS.
Washington vs. Oregon Prop Pick
Washington Over 29.5 (-113) ★★★★
My confidence in the Over shines through with the notion that the team I expect to lose by multiple touchdowns also feels like a reasonable choice to get to 30 points. Though the Huskies have fallen short of the 30-point threshold in their past two games, those two occasions are the only two times it has happened all year.
Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. leads the most prolific passing offense in the nation. The Huskies average 369.5 passing yards per game, the most in FBS by nearly 30 yards per game. Oregon’s defense is one of six in the country to allow more than 300 passing yards per game. The Ducks rank 126th in FBS in the category.
Though I’m projecting the Ducks to continue their dominance against the spread at home, it’s undeniable that the matchup against the Oregon secondary presents favorably for Washington to have success offensively, too.
