Rutgers vs. USC touchdown pick

Kyle Monangai anytime touchdown (-154) ⭐⭐⭐

Rutgers is a two-touchdown underdog on the road, but running back Kyle Monangai can help make this game more competitive than expected.

Monangai has recorded 845 yards and 10 touchdowns on 154 attempts this season. He has scored at least one touchdown in six of seven games, the only exception when Rutgers mustered just seven points against Nebraska.

The Scarlet Knights' team total will be in the low 20s on Friday, so I like Monangai’s chances of finding the end zone. His odds of scoring are as high as -195 at FanDuel, providing way more value at this -154 price.

Best Rutgers vs. USC prop bets

Ja’Kobi Lane Over 35.5 receiving yards (-115)

As mentioned in my Week 9 college football player props, I’m betting on a big day for USC receiver Ja’Kobi Lane.

Predicting which Trojans receiver will perform well any given week can be tricky, but I like how Lane has been trending. He caught four passes for 51 yards against Maryland last time out.

Lane has earned at least four targets in every game since Week 2, suggesting quarterback Miller Moss trusts him more lately. I project Lane to clear 40 years, so I see plenty of value in his current line.

Miller Moss Under 0.5 interceptions (-106)

For my final Rutgers vs. USC player prop, I’m betting on Moss to end a forgettable trend. He has thrown an interception in five straight games, tossing six picks over that span.

But I feel that run will end against Rutgers.

PFF’s numbers suggest Moss has been unlucky. He’s only been charted for nine turnover-worthy plays, including eight during this five-game stretch of interceptions.

Plus, Rutgers has only five picks so far, tied for 69th in the nation. I’d bet this prop at -110 or better.
