This is my favorite Week 9 bet.

Kansas State quarterback Avery Johnson, from Wichita, should put on a show in his first Sunflower Showdown rivalry matchup against a shaky Kansas defense.

Johnson continues to get more comfortable in his first season as the starting quarterback, throwing multiple touchdown passes in three straight games. He has cleared this line in six of seven contests, tossing 14 touchdowns on the year.

With a projection of 2.7 touchdown passes for Johnson, this line seems almost too good to be true. FanDuel charges as much as -172 for the same ticket, so I’m scooping up this bargain at bet365 before it’s gone.

By putting up video game statistics this year, Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty has emerged as a Heisman Trophy odds contender. He has accumulated 1,248 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns on 126 attempts.

That’s precisely why Jeanty’s rushing yards prop is trading at 199.5 at our best sports betting sites.

In a potentially competitive game, bettors looking for value on the talented back must target his receiving prop instead.
