The Army-Navy game is a unique tradition in college football, and the matchup this year could be among the best in the rivalry's history.

In its first year as a member of the AAC, Army is a conference champion thanks to Jeff Monken turning in arguably his most impressive season as the Black Knights' sideline boss.

It was so successful that he was rumored to be in the running for the North Carolina head coaching job that went to Bill Belichick.

While this Army squad is known for its explosive offense, the defense has been equally dominant and is well-suited to slow down Navy's triple-option attack. The Black Knights are 28th in  defensively, and they're allowing the 11th-fewest rushing yards per game in the country (104.0).

To make matters worse for Navy, star QB Blake Horvath missed the Midshipmen's last game against East Carolina with a rib injury. That could make running the triple option into the teeth of this defense difficult.

Monken has found one of the most productive quarterbacks in the history of service academy football in Bryson Daily. Not since Keenan Reynolds and Malcolm Perry has there been a QB this exceptional at running the triple option.

Army is 10th in the country in EPA per rush thanks to Daily, and he should be a massive challenge for Navy to slow down. The Midshipmen are just 65th in on defense.

But what makes Army's attack so potent is its ability to lean on the team's aerial assault with Daily in command. The Black Knights are eighth in the country in EPA per dropback, and Daily has posted the third-highest NFL QB rating in college football among players with at least 80 dropbacks, according to .

Army's offense is simply going to be too much for Navy. If the Black Knights cover, a $10 bet pays a $9.09 profit.

Normally I'd be hesitant to back an Over in this matchup. After all, what team would be better at stopping the triple option than the ones who run it too?

However, Navy is just 83rd in EPA per rush on defense and is allowing 159.9 rushing yards per game this season. And Daily has been looking like prime Pat White with the ball in his hands.

He's topped 119.5 rushing yards in eight of his last nine games, including six straight. Daily's ability to create on his own is a huge reason I love the Over here. He leads all QBs in rushing yards after contact (768) and sits fifth in missed tackles forced (47).
