The 125th edition of the Army-Navy rivalry, played at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday at Northwest Stadium (CBS), could be one of the best.

Army (11-1) and Navy (8-3) are coming off impressive seasons, but both teams would love nothing more than to cap it off with the Commander-in-Chief’s trophy. Army is the 6.5-point favorite, marking the largest spread in this rivalry since Navy won outright as a 7.5-point underdog in 2021.

While everyone will be rushing to bet the Under in a tradition unlike any other, here are my Navy vs. Army player prop picks for Saturday’s much-anticipated matchup. The below picks are part of our Armed Forces Bowl coverage.

Army quarterback Bryson Daily is the best player in this game. He’s put up incredible stats this season, rushing for 1,480 yards and throwing for 877. Oh, and he has 29 rushing touchdowns.

Our best sportsbooks know this, so Daily is trading around -450 to score a touchdown. That’s a steep price in an Army-Navy matchup, where points are at a premium.

As such, I prefer betting on Daily to come through with a touchdown in the first half via bet365. It’s still silly for this prop to have minus odds, but it's much more palatable, given that Daily is projected for 1.3 rushing scores on Saturday.

Best Navy vs. Army prop picks

Blake Horvath Over 59.5 rushing yards

Best odds: -115 via bet365 | Implied probability: 53.49%

Navy quarterback Blake Horvath has also put together an impressive campaign after missing the final seven games of 2023 due to a thumb injury. He has thrown for 1,154 yards and run for 895 yards.

Horvath has had some big games as a runner this year, reaching triple-digit rushing yards four times. He’s cleared this rushing prop in six of his 10 games.

SportsLine projects Horvath to flirt with 100 rushing yards on Saturday, putting his alternate markets in play. But I’ll start with this Over in a game that should feature a heavy dose of the ground game. A winning $10 bet will profit $8.70.

Bryson Daily Under 69.5 passing yards

Best odds: -114 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 53.27%

Daily doesn’t have to do much as a passer when things are going well for Army. He attempted two passes, completing both for 17 yards, in a 35-14 victory over Tulane during the American Athletic Championship.

These Army-Navy matchups never seem to go according to plan, but the Black Knights likely won’t have to throw the ball much if the spread (-6.5) is any indication. Daily has only attempted more than six passes four times this season.

FanDuel has the highest line in the market at 69.5, as the rest of our best prop betting sites have set this line in the mid-60s. The Under is the play at that difference.

Rob Paul is expecting a productive day from Daily too in his Navy vs. Army prediction.
